| 23 | מִbֶּ֨ן שְׁלֹשִׁ֤ים שָׁנָה֙ וָמַ֔עְלָה עַ֛ד בֶּן־חֲמִשִּׁ֥ים שָׁנָ֖ה תִּפְקֹ֣ד אוֹתָ֑ם כָּל־הַbָּא֙ לִצְבֹ֣א צָבָ֔א לַעֲבֹ֥ד עֲבֹדָ֖ה בְּאֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵֽד׃ | Miben sheloshim shanah vamalah ad ben chamishim shanah tifkod otam; kol haba litzvo tzava, laavod avodah beOhel Moed. | From thirty years old and upward until fifty years old you shall count them; all who come to enter the service, to do the work in the Tent of Meeting. |

| 25 | וְנָשְׂא֞וּ אֶת־יְרִיעֹ֤ת הַמִּשְׁכָּן֙ וְאֶת־אֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֔ד מִכְסֵ֕הוּ וּמִכְסֵ֥ה הַתַּ֖חַשׁ אֲשֶׁר־עָלָ֣יו מִלְמָ֑עְלָה וְאֶ֨ת־מָסַ֔ךְ פֶּ֖תַח אֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵֽד׃ | Venaseu et yeriot haMishkan veet Ohel Moed michsehu umichseh hatachash asher alav milmalah, veet masach petach Ohel Moed, | They shall carry the curtains of the Tabernacle, and the Tent of Meeting, its covering, and the covering of the sealskin that is above upon it, and the screen for the door of the Tent of Meeting, |
| 26 | וְאֵת֩ קַלְעֵ֨י הֶחָצֵ֜ר וְאֶת־מָסַ֣ךְ ׀ פֶּ֣תַח ׀ שַׁ֣עַר הֶחָצֵ֨ר אֲשֶׁר־עַל־הַמִּשְׁכָּ֥ן וְעַל־הַמִּזְבֵּחַ֮ סָבִיב֒ וְאֶת־מֵֽיתְרֵיהֶם֙ וְאֶת־כָּל־כְּלֵ֣י עֲבֹדָתָ֔ם וְאֵ֨ת כָּל־אֲשֶׁ֧ר יֵעָשֶׂ֛ה לָהֶ֖ם וְעָבָֽדוּ׃ | veet kalei hechatzer veet masach petach shaar hechatzer asher al haMishkan veal hamizbeach saviv, veet meyteyreijem veet kol klei avodatam; veet kol asher yeaseh lahem veavadu. | and the hangings of the court, and the screen for the door of the gate of the court, which is by the Tabernacle and by the altar round about, and their cords, and all the instruments of their service; and whatsoever shall be made for them, therewith shall they serve. |
| 27 | עַל־פִּ֨י אַהֲרֹ֤ן וּבָנָיו֙ תִּהְיֶ֔ה כָּל–עֲבֹדַ֖ת בְּנֵ֣י הַגֵּרְשֻׁנִּ֑י לְכָל–מַשָּׂאָם֙ וּלְכֹ֣ל עֲבֹדָתָ֔ם וּפְקַדְתֶּ֤ם עֲלֵיהֶם֙ בְּמִשְׁמֶ֔רֶת אֵ֖ת כָּל–מַשָּׂאָֽם׃ | Al pi Aharon uvanav tihyeh kol avodat bnei haGuershuni, lechol masaam ulchol avodatam; ufkadtem aleichem bemishmeret et kol masaam. | At the commandment of Aaron and his sons shall be all the service of the sons of the Gershonites, in all their burden, and in all their service; and you shall appoint unto them in charge all their burden. |

(S) | This is the service of the families of the sons of the Gershonites in the Tent of Meeting; and their charge shall be under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest." |

| 30 | מִבֶּ֨ן שְׁלֹשִׁ֤ים שָׁנָה֙ וָמַ֔עְלָה עַ֛ד בֶּן־חֲמִשִּׁ֥ים שָׁנָ֖ה תִּפְקְדֵ֑ם כָּל־הַbָּא֙ לַצָּבָ֔א לַעֲבֹ֕ד אֶת־עֲבֹדַ֖ה בְּאֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵֽד׃ | Miben sheloshim shanah vamalah ad ben chamishim shanah tifkedem; kol haba latzava, laavod et avodah beOhel Moed. | from thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old shall you count them, every one that enters into the service, to do the work of the Tent of Meeting. |

| 32 | וְעַמּוּדֵי֩ הֶחָצֵ֨ר סָבִ֜יב וַאֲדָנֵיהֶ֗ם וִיתֵדֹתָם֙ וּמֵ֣יתְרֵיהֶ֔ם לְכָל־כְּלֵיהֶם֙ וּלְכֹ֖ל עֲבֹדָתָ֑ם וּבְשֵׁמֹ֥ת תִּפְקְד֔וּ אֶת־כְּלֵ֖י מִשְׁמֶ֥רֶת מַשָּׂאָֽם׃ | veammudei hechatzer saviv vaadaneichem vitidotam umeyteyreichem lechol kleichem ulchol avodatam; uvshemot tifkedu et klei mishmeret masaam. | and the pillars of the court round about, and their sockets, and their pins, and their cords, with all their instruments, and with all their service; and by name you shall appoint the instruments of the charge of their burden. |

| 36 | וַיִּהְי֥וּ פְקֻדֵיהֶ֖ם לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָ֑ם אַלְפַּ֕יִם שְׁבַ֥ע מֵא֖וֹת וַחֲמִשִּֽׁים׃ | Vayihyu fkudeichem lemishpechotam alpayim sheva meot vachamishim. | And those that were counted of them by their families were two thousand seven hundred and fifty. |
| 37 | אֵ֤לֶּה פְקוּדֵי֙ מִשְׁפְּחֹ֣ת הַקְּהָתִ֔י כָּל־הָעֹבֵ֖ד בְּאֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֑ד אֲשֶׁ֨ר פָּקַ֤ד מֹשֶׁה֙ וְאַהֲרֹ֔ן עַל־פִּ֥י יְהוָ֖ה בְּיַד־מֹשֶֽׁה׃ ס | Elleh fkudei mishpechot haKehati kol haoved beOhel Moed, asher pakad Mosheh veAharon al pi Adonai beyad Mosheh. | 7 | וְהִתְוַדּ֗וּ אֶֽת־חַטָּאתָם֮ אֲשֶׁ֣ר עָשׂוּ֒ וְהֵשִׁ֤יב אֶת־אֲשָׁמוֹ֙ בְּרֹאשׁ֔וֹ וַחֲמִישִׁת֖וֹ יֹסֵ֣ף עָלָ֑יו וְנָתַ֕ן לַאֲשֶׁ֥ר אָשַׁ֖ם לֽוֹ׃ | Vehitvadu et chatatam asher asu, veheshiv et ashamo berosho, vachamishito yosef alav, venatan laasher asham lo. | then they shall confess their sin which they have done; and he shall make restitution for his guilt in full, and add unto it the fifth part thereof, and give it unto him in respect of whom he has been guilty. |
| 8 | וְאִם־אֵ֨ישׁ אִ֥ישׁ לֹ֨א לָאִ֜ישׁ גֹּאֵ֨ל לְהָשִׁ֤יב הָאָשָׁם֙ אֵלָ֔יו הָאָשָׁ֛ם הַמּוּשָׁ֥ב לַיהוָ֖ה לַכֹּהֵ֑ן מִלְּבַ֗ד אֵ֚יל הַכִּפֻּרִ֔ים אֲשֶׁ֥ר יְכַפֶּר־בּ֖וֹ עָלָֽיו׃ | Veim ein laish goel leheshiv haasham elav, haasham hamushav l'Adonai lakohen, milvad eil hachipurim asher yechaper bo alav. | But if the man have no kinsman to whom restitution may be made for the guilt, the restitution for guilt which is made unto Hashem shall be the priest's; besides the ram of the atonement, whereby atonement shall be made for him. |

| 10 | וְאִ֥ישׁ אֶת־קֳדָשָׁ֖יו ל֣וֹ יִהְי֑וּ אִ֨ישׁ אֲשֶׁר־יִתֵּ֥ן לַכֹּהֵ֖ן ל֥וֹ יִהְיֶֽה׃ פ | Veish et kodashav lo yihyu, ish asher yiten lakohen lo yihyeh. (P) | And every man's hallowed things shall be his; whatsoever any man gives the priest, it shall be his." |

| 13 | וְשָׁכַ֨ב אִ֥ישׁ אֹתָהּ֮ שִׁכְבַת־זֶרַע֒ וְנֶעְלַם֙ מֵעֵינֵ֣י אִישָׁ֔הּ וְנִסְתְּרָ֖ה וְהִ֣יא נִטְמָ֑אָה וְעֵ֨ד אֵ֥ין בָּהּ Light וְהִ֖יא לֹ֥א נִתְפָּֽשָׂה׃ | veshachav ish otah shichvat zera, veneclam meinei ishah, venistarah vehi nitmaah, veed ein bah vehia lo nitpasah; | and a man lie with her carnally, and it be hid from the eyes of her husband, and she be kept close, and she be defiled, and there be no witness against her, neither she be taken in the act; |
| 14 | וְעָבַ֨ר עָלָ֥יו רוּחַ־קִנְאָה֮ וְקִנֵּ֣א אֶת־אִשְׁתּוֹ֒ וְהִ֣יא נִטְמָ֑אָה אֽוֹ־עָבַ֨ר עָלָ֥יו רוּחַ־קִנְאָה֮ וְקִנֵּ֣א אֶת־אִשְׁתּוֹ֒ וְהִ֖יא לֹ֥א נִטְמָֽאָה׃ | veavar alav ruach kina vekina et ishto vehi nitmaah, o avar alav ruach kina vekina et ishto vehia lo nitmaah; | and the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she be defiled; or if the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she be not defiled; |
| 15 | וְהֵבִ֨יא הָאִ֥ישׁ אֶת־אִשְׁתּוֹ֮ אֶל־הַכֹּהֵן֒ וְהֵבִ֤יא אֶת־קָרְבָּנָהּ֙ עָלֶ֔יהָ עֲשִׂירִ֥ת הָאֵיפָ֖ה קֶ֣מַח שְׂעֹרִ֑ים לֹא־יִצֹ֨ק עָלָ֜יו שֶׁ֗מֶן וְלֹא־יִתֵּ֤ן עָלָיו֙ לְבֹנָ֔ה כִּֽי־מִנְחַ֤ת קְנָאֹת֙ ה֤וּא מִנְחַת֙ זִכָּר֔וֹן מַזְכֶּ֖רֶת עָוֹֽן׃ | vehevia haish et ishto el hakohen, vehevia et karbanah aleiha asirit haeifah kemach seorim, lo yitzok alav shemen velo yiten alav levonah, ki minchat knaot hu, minchat zicaron mazkeret avon. | then shall the man bring his wife unto the priest, and shall bring her offering for her, the tenth part of an ephah of barley meal; he shall pour no oil upon it, nor put frankincense thereon; for it is a meal-offering of jealousy, a meal-offering of memorial, bringing iniquity to remembrance. |
| 16 | וְהִקְרִ֥יב אֹתָ֖הּ הַכֹּהֵ֑ן וְהֶֽעֱמִדָ֖הּ לִפְנֵ֥י יְהוָֽה׃ | Vehikriv otah hakohen, veheemidah lifnei Adonai. | And the priest shall bring her near, and set her before Hashem. |
| 17 | וְלָקַ֨ח הַכֹּהֵ֜ן מַ֣יִם קְדֹשִׁ֗ים בִּכְלִי־חֶ֑רֶשׂ וּמִן־הֶֽעָפָ֗ר אֲשֶׁ֤ר יִהְיֶה֙ בְּקַרְקַ֣ע הַמִּשְׁכָּ֔ן יִקַּ֥ח הַכֹּהֵ֖ן וְנָתַ֥ן אֶל־הַמָּֽיִם׃ | Velakach hakohen mayim kdoshim bijli chares, umin heafar asher yihyeh bcharkac haMishkan yikach hakohen venatan el hamayim. | And the priest shall take holy water in an earthen vessel; and of the dust that is on the floor of the Tabernacle the priest shall take, and put it into the water. |
| 18 | וְהֶעֱמִ֨יד הַכֹּהֵ֤ן אֶת־הָאִשָּׁה֙ לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֔ה וּפָרַע֙ אֶת־רֹ֣אשׁ הָאִשָּׁ֔ה וְנָתַ֣ן עַל־כַּפֶּ֗יהָ אֵ֚ת מִנְחַ֣ת הַזִּכָּר֔וֹן מִנְחַ֥ת קְנָאֹ֖ת הִ֑יא וּבְיַ֤ד הַכֹּהֵן֙ יִהְי֔וּ מֵ֥י הַמָּרִ֖ים הַמְאָֽרְרִֽים׃ | Veheemid hakohen et haishah lifnei Adonai, upara et rosh haishah, venatan al kapeiha et minchat hazicaron, minchat knaot hi, uvyad hakohen yihyu mei hamarim hamearirim. | And the priest shall set the woman before Hashem, and let the hair of the woman's head go loose, and put the meal-offering of memorial in her hands, which is the meal-offering of jealousy; and the priest shall have in his hand the water of bitterness that causes the curse. |
| 19 | וְהִשְׁבִּ֨יעַ אֹתָ֜הּ הַכֹּהֵ֗ן וְאָמַ֤ר אֶל־הָאִשָּׁה֙ אִם־לֹ֨א שָׁכַ֥ב אִ֨ישׁ אֹתָ֔ךְ וְאִם־לֹ֥א שָׂטִ֛ית טֻמְאָ֖ה תַּ֣חַת אִישֵׁ֑ךְ הִנָּקִ֕י מִמֵּ֛י הַמָּרִ֥ים הַמְאָרְרִ֖ים הָאֵֽלֶּה׃ | Vehishbia otah hakohen veamar el haishah, im lo shachav ish otach veim lo satit tumah tachat ishech, hinaki mimei hamarim hamearirim haelleh. | And the priest shall cause her to swear, and shall say unto the woman: If no man have lain with thee, and if thou hast not gone aside to uncleanness, being under thy husband, be thou free from this water of bitterness that causes the curse. |

| 26 | וְקָמַ֨ץ הַכֹּהֵ֤ן מִן־הַמִּנְחָה֙ אֶת־אַזְכָּרָתָ֔הּ וְהִקְטִ֖יר הַמִּזְבֵּ֑חָה וְאַחַ֛ר יַשְׁקֶ֥ה אֶת־הָאִשָּׁ֖ה אֶת־הַמָּֽיִם׃ | Vekamatz hakohen min haminchah et azkaratah vehiktir hamizbechah, veachar yashkeh et haishah et hamayim. | And the priest shall take a handful of the meal-offering, as the memorial-part thereof, and make it smoke upon the altar, and afterward shall make the woman drink the water. |
| 27 | וְהִשְׁקָ֣הּ אֶת־הַמַּיִם֒ וְהָיְתָ֣ה אִם־נִטְמְאָה֮ וַתִּמְעֹ֣ל מַ֣עַל בְּאִישָׁהּ֒ וּבָ֨אוּ בָ֜הּ הַמַּ֤יִם הַמְאָרְרִים֙ לְמָרִ֔ים וְצָבְתָ֣ה בִטְנָ֔הּ וְנָפְלָ֖ה יְרֵכָ֑הּ וְהָיְתָ֧ה הָאִשָּׁהּ לְאָלָ֖ה בְּקֶ֥רֶב עַמָּֽהּ׃ | Vehishkah et hamayim, vehaytah im nitmeah vatimol maal beishah, uvau vah hamayim hamearirim lemarim, vetzavtah bitnah venafelah yerechah, vehaytah haishah lealah bekerev amah. | And when he has made her drink the water, then it shall come to pass, if she be defiled, and has acted unfaithfully against her husband, that the water that causes the curse shall enter into her and become bitter, and her belly shall swell, and her thigh shall fall away; and the woman shall be a curse among her people. |

| 11 | וְעָשָׂ֣ה הַכֹּהֵ֗ן אֶחָ֤ד לְחַטָּאת֙ וְאֶחָ֣ד לְעֹלָ֔ה וְכִפֶּ֣ר עָלָ֔יו מֵאֲשֶׁ֥ר חָטָ֖א עַל־הַנָּ֑פֶשׁ וְקִדַּ֥שׁ אֶת־רֹאשׁ֖וֹ בַּיּ֥וֹם הַהֽוּא׃ | Veasah hakohen echad lechatat veechad leolah, vechipher alav measher chata al hanafesh; vekidash et rosho bayom hahu. | And the priest shall prepare one for a sin-offering, and the other for a burnt-offering, and make atonement for him, for that he sinned by reason of the dead, and shall hallow his head that same day. |
| 12 | וְהִזִּ֤יר לַֽיהוָה֙ אֶת־יְמֵ֣י נִזְר֔וֹ וְהֵבִ֥יא כֶּ֛בֶשׂ בֶּן־שְׁנָת֖וֹ לְאָשָׁ֑ם וְהַיָּמִ֤ים הָרִאשֹׁנִים֙ יִפְּל֔וּ כִּ֥י נִטְמֵ֖א נִזְרֽוֹ׃ | Vehizzir l'Adonai et yemei nizro, vehevia keves ben shnato leasham; vehayamim harishonim yiplu, ki nitme nizro. | And he shall consecrate unto Hashem the days of his Naziriteship, and shall bring a he-lamb of the first year for a guilt-offering; but the former days shall be void, because his consecration was defiled. |

| 17 | וְאֶת־הָאַ֜יִל יְעָשֶׂ֨ה זֶ֤בַח שְׁלָמִים֙ לַֽיהוָ֔ה עַ֖ל סַ֣ל הַמַּצּ֑וֹת וְעָשָׂה֙ הַכֹּהֵ֔ן אֶת־מִנְחָת֖וֹ וֶאֶת־נִסְכּֽוֹ׃ | Veet haayil yaaseh zevach shlamim l'Adonai al sal hamatzot; veasah hakohen et minchato veet nisko. | and he shall offer the ram for a sacrifice of peace-offerings unto Hashem, with the basket of unleavened bread; the priest shall offer also his meal-offering, and his drink-offering. |
| 18 | וְגִלַּ֣ח הַנָּזִ֗יר פֶּ֛תַח אֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵ֖ד אֶת־רֹ֣אשׁ נִזְר֑וֹ וְלָקַ֗ח אֶת־שְׂעַר֙ רֹ֣אשׁ נִזְר֔וֹ וְנָתַן֙ עַל־הָאֵ֔שׁ אֲשֶׁר־תַּ֖חַת זֶ֥בַח הַשְּׁלָמִֽים׃ | Veguillach hanazir petach Ohel Moed et rosh nizro; velakach et sear rosh nizro, venatan al haesh asher tachat zevach hashlamim. | And the Nazirite shall shave the head of his consecration at the door of the Tent of Meeting, and shall take the hair of the head of his consecration, and put it on the fire which is under the sacrifice of the peace-offerings. |
| 19 | וְלָקַ֨ח הַכֹּהֵ֜ן אֶת־הַזְּרֹ֧עַ בְּשֵׁלָ֛ה מִן־הָאַ֖יִל וְֽחַלַּ֨ת מַצָּ֤ה אַחַת֙ מִן־הַסַּ֔ל וּרְקִ֥יק מַצָּ֖ה אֶחָ֑ד וְנָתַן֙ עַל־כַּפֵּ֣י הַנָּזִ֔יר אַחַ֖ר הִֽתְגַּלְּח֥וֹ אֶת־נִזְרֽוֹ׃ | Velakach hakohen et hazroa bsholah min haayil, vechalat matzah achat min hasal, urkik matzah echad, venatan al kapei hanazir achar hitguallacho et nizro. | And the priest shall take the shoulder of the ram when it is sodden, and one unleavened cake out of the basket, and one unleavened wafer, and shall put them upon the hands of the Nazirite, after he has shaven the head of his consecration; |
| 20 | וְהֵנִ֨יף אוֹתָ֥ם הַכֹּהֵ֮ן תְּנוּפָה֮ לִפנֵ֣י יְהוָה֒ קֹ֤דֶשׁ הוּא֙ לַכֹּהֵ֔ן עַ֚ל חֲזֵ֣ה הַתְּנוּפָ֔ה וְעַ֖ל שׁ֣וֹק הַתְּרוּמָ֑ה וְאַחַ֖ר יִשְׁתֶּ֥ה הַנָּזִ֖יר יָֽיִן׃ | Vehenif otam hakohen tnufah lifnei Adonai; kodesh hu lakohen al chazeh hatnufah veal shok haterumah; veachar yishteh hanazir yayin. | and the priest shall wave them for a wave-offering before Hashem; this is holy for the priest, together with the breast of waving and the thigh of heaving; and after that the Nazirite may drink wine. |

(S) | She may not eat of anything that cometh of the grape-vine, neither let her drink wine or strong drink, nor eat any unclean thing; all that I commanded her let her observe." |

| 23 | וַתֹּ֧אmֶר ל֣וֹ אִשְׁתּ֗וֹ לוּ֩ חָfֵ֨ץ יְהוָ֤ה לַהֲmִיתֵ֨נוּ֙ לֹֽא־קִקַּ֤ח mִֽיָּדֵ֨נוּ֙ עֹלָlll וּmִנְחָ֔ה וְלֹ֥א הֶרְאָ֖נוּ אֶת־כָּל־אֵ֑לֶּה וְכָעֵ֕ת לֹAI הִשְmִיעָ֖נוּ כָּזֹֽאת׃ | Vatomer lo ishto: Lu chafetz Adonai laamitenu lo kakach miyadenu olah uminchah, velo heranu et col elleh, vechaet lo hishmianu cazot. | But his wife said unto him: "If Hashem were pleased to kill us, He would not have received a burnt-offering and a meal-offering at our hand, neither would He have shown us all these things, nor would at this time have told us such things as these." |
| 24 | וַתֵּ֤לֶד הָֽאִשָּׁה֙ bֵ֔ן וַתִּקְרָ֥א אֶת־שְm֖וֹ שִׁmְשֽׁוֹן וַיִּגְדַּ֣ל הַנַּ֔עַר וַֽיְbָרֲכֵ֖הוּ יְהוָֽה׃ | Vateled haishah ben, vaticra et shmo Shimshon; vayigdal hanaar vayvarchehu Adonai. | And the woman bore a son, and called his name Samson; and the child grew, and Hashem blessed him. |
| 25 | וַתָּ֨חֶל רוּחַ_ יְהוָ֖ה לְfַעֲm֑וֹ bְּmַחֲנֵה־דָ֔ן bֵּ֥ין צָרְעָ֖ה וּbֵ֥ין אֶשְׁתָּאֹֽל׃ f | Vatachel ruach Adonai lefaamo bemachaneh Dan, bein Tzorah ubein Eshtaol. (P) | And the spirit of Hashem began to move him in Mahaneh-dan, between Zorah and Eshtaol. |
