| 25:11 | פִּינְחָס בֶּן־אֶלְעָזָר בֶּן־אַהֲרֹן הַכֹּהֵן הֵשִׁיב אֶת־חֲמָתִי מֵעַל בְּנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּקַנְאוֹ אֶת־קִנְאָתִי בְּתוֹכָם וְלֹא־כִלִּיתִי אֶת־בְּנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּקִנְאָתִי׃ | Pinjás ben-El‘azar ben-Aharón hakohén heshiv et-jamatí me‘al bené-Yisrael, bekan’ó et-kin’atí betojam; veló-jilíti et-bené-Yisrael bekin’atí. | Pinjás, son of Elazar, son of Aharón the kohen, has turned My wrath away from the children of Israel by showing zeal for My cause among them; therefore I did not consume the children of Israel in My zeal. |

| 25:13 | וְהָיְתָה לּוֹ וּלְזַרְעוֹ אַחֲרָיו בְּרִית כְּהֻנַּת עוֹלָם תַּחַת אֲשֶׁר קִנֵּא לֵאלֹהָיו וַיְכַפֵּר עַל־בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל׃ | Vehayetá lo ulezar‘ó ajarav berit kehunat ‘olam, tájat asher kiné le’Elohav vayejaper ‘al-bené Yisrael. | And it shall be for him and for his descendants after him a covenant of everlasting priesthood, because he was zealous for his Elohim and made atonement for the children of Israel. |
| 25:14 | וְשֵׁם אִישׁ יִשְׂרָאֵל הַמֻּכֶּה אֲשֶׁר הֻכָּה אֶת־הַמִּדְיָנִית זִמְרִי בֶּן־סָלוּא נְשִׂיא בֵית־אָב לַשִּׁמְעֹנִי׃ | Veshem ish Yisrael hamuké asher huká et-hamidyanit, Zimrí ben-Salú, nesí veit-av lashim‘oní. | And the name of the Israelite man who was struck down, who was struck with the Midianite woman, was Zimrí son of Salú, a prince of a paternal house among the Shimonites. |

| 25:18 | כִּי צֹרְרִים הֵם לָכֶם בְּנִכְלֵיהֶם אֲשֶׁר־נִכְּלוּ לָכֶם עַל־דְּבַר־פְּעוֹר וְעַל־דְּבַר כָּזְבִּי בַת־נְשִׂיא מִדְיָן אֲחֹתָם הַמֻּכָּה בְיוֹם־הַמַּגֵּפָה עַל־דְּבַר־פְּעוֹר׃ | Ki tzor’rim hem lajem benijlehem asher-nikelú lajem ‘al-devar-Pe‘or, ve‘al-devar Kozbí vat-nesí Midyan ajotam, hamuká beyom-hamagefá ‘al-devar-Pe‘or. | For they harassed you with their schemes, with which they deceived you in the matter of Peor and in the matter of Kozbí, daughter of a prince of Midian, their sister, who was struck down on the day of the plague because of Peor. |

| 26:2 | שְׂאוּ אֶת־רֹאשׁ כָּל־עֲדַת בְּנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵל מִבֶּן עֶשְׂרִים שָׁנָה וָמַעְלָה לְבֵית אֲבֹתָם כָּל־יֹצֵא צָבָא בְּיִשְׂרָאֵל׃ | Se’ú et-rosh kol-‘adat bené-Yisrael, mibén ‘esrim shaná vamá‘la, leveit avotam, kol-yotzé tzavá beYisrael. | Take a census of the entire congregation of the children of Israel, from twenty years old and upward, according to their fathers’ houses, everyone who goes out to the army in Israel. |

| 26:4 | מִבֶּן עֶשְׂרִים שָׁנָה וָמָעְלָה כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יְהוָה אֶת־מֹשֶׁה וּבְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל הַיֹּצְאִים מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם׃ | Mibén ‘esrim shaná vamá‘la, ka’asher tzivá Adonai et-Moshé; uvené Yisrael hayotz’im me’éretz Mitzráyim. | From twenty years old and upward, as Adonai had commanded Moshé; and the children of Israel who came out of the land of Mitzráyim. |

Do not be broken before them, lest I break you before them. |

| Jer 1:19 | וְנִלְחֲמ֥וּ אֵלֶ֖יךָ וְלֹא־י֣וּכְלוּ לָ֑ךְ כִּי־אִתְּךָ֥ אֲנִ֛י נְאֻם־יְהֹוָ֖ה לְהַצִּילֶֽךָ׃ | Veniljamú eléja veló-yujlú laj, ki-itjá aní, neum-Adonai, lehatziléja. | They will fight against you, but they will not prevail over you, for I am with you, says Adonai, to deliver you. |

| Jer 2:2 | הָלֹ֡ךְ וְֽקָרָ֩אתָ֩ בְאׇזְנֵ֨י יְרוּשָׁלַ֜͏ִם לֵאמֹ֗ר כֹּ֚ה אָמַ֣ר יְהֹוָ֔ה זָכַ֤רְתִּי לָךְ֙ חֶ֣סֶד נְעוּרַ֔יִךְ אַהֲבַ֖ת כְּלוּלֹתָ֑יִךְ לֶכְתֵּ֤ךְ אַֽחֲרַי֙ בַּמִּדְבָּ֔ר בְּאֶ֖רֶץ לֹ֥א זְרוּעָֽה׃ | Halój vekaratá veozné Yerushaláyim lemor: Ko amar Adonai, zajartí laj jésed neuráyij, ahavát kelulotáyij, lejtéj ajarai bamidbár, beéretz lo zeru‘á. | Go and proclaim in the ears of Yerushaláyim, saying: Thus said Adonai: I remember in your favor the kindness of your youth, the love of your betrothal, when you followed Me in the wilderness, in a land not sown. |
| Jer 2:3 | קֹ֤דֶשׁ יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ לַיהֹוָ֔ה רֵאשִׁ֖ית תְּבוּאָתֹ֑ה כׇּל־אֹכְלָ֣יו יֶאְשָׁ֔מוּ רָעָ֛ה תָּבֹ֥א אֲלֵיהֶ֖ם נְאֻם־יְהֹוָֽה׃ | Kódesh Yisrael lAdonai, reshít tevuató; kol-ojlav yeeshámu, raá tavó alehém, neum-Adonai. | Israel was holy to Adonai, the first of His harvest. All who devoured him bore guilt; evil came upon them, says Adonai. |
