| 29:19 | לֹא-יֹאבֶה יְהוָה, סְלֹחַ לוֹ--כִּי אָז יֶעְשַׁן אַף-יְהוָה וְקִנְאָתוֹ בָּאִישׁ הַהוּא, וְרָבְצָה בּוֹ כָּל-הָאָלָה הַכְּתוּבָה בַּסֵּפֶר הַזֶּה; וּמָחָה יְהוָה אֶת-שְׁמוֹ, מִתַּחַת הַשָּׁמָיִם׃ | lo-yove Adonay seloakh lo ki az yeshan af-Adonay vekinato baish hahu veravtsa bo kol-haala haktuva basefer haze umakha Adonay et-shemo mitakhat hashamayim | The Eternal will not be willing to pardon him, but then the anger of the Eternal and His jealousy shall be kindled against that man, and all the curse that is written in this book shall settle upon him, and the Eternal shall blot out his name from under heaven; |
| 29:20 | וְהִבְדִּילוֹ יְהוָה לְרָעָה, מִכֹּל שִׁבְטֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל--כְּכֹל, אָלוֹת הַבְּרִית, הַכְּתוּבָה, בְּסֵפֶר הַתּוֹרָה הַזֶּה׃ | vehivdilo Adonay leraa mikol shivte yisrael kekhol alot haberit haktuva besefer hatora haze | and the Eternal shall single him out for evil from all the tribes of Israel, according to all the curses of the covenant written in this Book of the Law. |

| 29:22 | גָּפְרִית וָמֶלַח, שְׂרֵפָה כָל-אַרְצָהּ--לֹא תִזָּרַע וְלֹא תַצְמִחַ, וְלֹא-יַעֲלֶה בָהּ כָּל-עֵשֶׂב: כְּמַהְפֵּכַת סְדֹם וַעֲמֹרָה, אַדְמָה וּצְבֹיִים, אֲשֶׁר הָפַךְ יְהוָה, בְּאַפּוֹ וּבַחֲמָתוֹ׃ | gofrit vamelakh serefa kol-artsa lo tizara velo tatsmiakh velo-yaale va kol-esev kemahpekhat sedom vaamora adma utsvoyim asher hafakh Adonay beapo uvakhamato | that the whole of its land is brimstone and salt, a burning waste, not sown and bearing nothing, with no grass growing on it, like the overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah, Admah and Zeboiim, which the Eternal overthrew in His anger and in His wrath — |
| 29:23 | וְאָמְרוּ, כָּל-הַגּוֹיִם, עַל-מֶה עָשָׂה יְהוָה כָּכָה, לָאָרֶץ הַזֹּאת; מֶה חֳרִי הָאַף הַגָּדוֹל, הַזֶּה׃ | veamru kol-hagoyim al-me asa Adonay kakha laarets hazot me khori haaf hagadol haze | all the nations shall say: “Why has the Eternal done thus to this land? What is the meaning of this great, fierce anger?” |

| 29:25 | וַיֵּלְכוּ, וַיַּעַבְדוּ אֱלֹהִים אֲחֵרִים, וַיִּשְׁתַּחֲווּ, לָהֶם: אֱלֹהִים אֲשֶׁר לֹא-יְדָעוּם, וְלֹא חָלַק לָהֶם׃ | vayelkhu vayaavdu elohim akherim vayishtakhavu lahem elohim asher lo-yedaum velo khalak lahem | and they went and served other gods, and bowed down to them, gods they had not known, and whom He had not allotted to them. |

And Moses and Joshua went and presented themselves in the Tent of Meeting. |
| 31:15 | וַיֵּרָא יְהוָה בָּאֹהֶל, בְּעַמּוּד עָנָן; וַיַּעֲמֹד עַמּוּד הֶעָנָן, עַל-פֶּתַח הָאֹהֶל׃ | vayera Adonay baohel beamud anan vayaamod amud heanan al-petakh haohel | And the Eternal appeared in the Tent in a pillar of cloud; and the pillar of cloud stood over the entrance of the Tent. |

| 61:11 | כִּי כָאָרֶץ תּוֹצִיא צִמְחָהּ, וּכְגַנָּה זֵרוּעֶיהָ תַצְמִיחַ--כֵּן אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה, יַצְמִיחַ צְדָקָה וּתְהִלָּה, נֶגֶד, כָּל-הַגּוֹיִם׃ | ki kaarets totsi tsimkha ukhegana zerueha tatsmiakh ken Adonay elohim yatsmiakh tsedaka utehila neged kol-hagoyim | For as the earth brings forth its growth, and as a garden causes the things sown in it to spring forth, so the Eternal God will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations. |
| 62:1 | לְמַעַן צִיּוֹן לֹא אֶחֱשֶׁה, וּלְמַעַן יְרוּשָׁלִַם לֹא אֶשְׁקוֹט, עַד-יֵצֵא כַנֹּגַהּ צִדְקָהּ, וִישׁוּעָתָהּ כְּלַפִּיד יִבְעָר׃ | lemaan tsiyon lo ekheshe ulemaan yerushalayim lo eshkot ad-yetse khanoga tsidka vishuata kelapid yivar | For Zion's sake I will not keep silent, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until her righteousness goes forth as brightness, and her salvation as a burning torch. |
| 62:2 | וְרָאוּ גוֹיִם צִדְקֵךְ, וְכָל-מְלָכִים כְּבוֹדֵךְ; וְקֹרָא לָךְ שֵׁם חָדָשׁ, אֲשֶׁר פִּי יְהוָה יִקֳּבֶנּוּ׃ | verau goyim tsidkekh vekhol-melakhim kevodekh vekora lakh shem khadash asher pi Adonay yikovenu | And the nations shall see your righteousness, and all kings your glory; and you shall be called by a new name, which the mouth of the Eternal shall pronounce. |

| 62:8 | נִשְׁבַּע יְהוָה בִּימִינוֹ, וּבִזְרוֹעַ עֻזּוֹ: אִם-אֶתֵּן אֶת-דְּגָנֵךְ עוֹד מַאֲכָל, לְאֹיְבַיִךְ, וְאִם-יִשְׁתּוּ בְנֵי-נֵכָר תִּירוֹשֵׁךְ, אֲשֶׁר יָגַעַתְּ בּוֹ׃ | nishba Adonay bimino uvizroa uzo im-eten et-deganekh od maakhal leoyvayikh veim-yishtu vne-nekhar tiroshekh asher yagaat bo | The Eternal has sworn by His right hand, and by His mighty arm: Surely I will no more give your grain to be food for your enemies, nor shall foreigners drink your wine, for which you have labored; |
| 62:9 | כִּי מְאַסְפָיו יֹאכְלֻהוּ, וְהִלְלוּ אֶת-יְהוָה; וּמְקַבְּצָיו יִשְׁתֻּהוּ, בְּחַצְרוֹת קָדְשִׁי׃ | ki measfav yokhluhu vehillu et-Adonay umkabtsav yishtuhu bekhatsrot kadshi | but those who have garnered it shall eat it, and praise the Eternal; and those who have gathered it shall drink it in the courts of My sanctuary. |
| 62:10 | עִבְרוּ עִבְרוּ בַּשְּׁעָרִים, פַּנּוּ דֶּרֶךְ הָעָם; סֹלּוּ סֹלּוּ הַמְסִלָּה סַקְּלוּ מֵאֶבֶן, הָרִימוּ נֵס עַל-הָעַמִּים׃ | ivru ivru bashearim panu derekh haam solu solu hamesila sakelu meeven harimu nes al-haamim | Pass through, pass through the gates, clear the way for the people; build up, build up the highway, remove the stones, lift up a banner over the peoples. |
| 62:11 | הִנֵּה יְהוָה, הִשְׁמִיעַ אֶל-קְצֵה הָאָרֶץ, אִמְרוּ לְבַת-צִיּוֹן, הִנֵּה יִשְׁעֵךְ בָּא; הִנֵּה שְׂכָרוֹ אִתּוֹ, וּפְעֻלָּתוֹ לְפָנָיו׃ | hine Adonay hishmia el-ktse haarets imru levat-tsiyon hine yishekh ba hine sekharo ito ufeulato lefanav | Behold, the Eternal has proclaimed to the end of the earth: Say to the daughter of Zion, “Behold, your salvation comes; behold, His reward is with Him, and His recompense before Him.” |
| 62:12 | וְקָרְאוּ לָהֶם עַם-הַקֹּדֶשׁ, גְּאוּלֵי יְהוָה; וְלָךְ יִקָּרֵא דְרוּשָׁה, עִיר לֹא נֶעֱזָבָה׃ | vekaru lahem am-hakodesh geule Adonay velakh yikare derusha ir lo neezava | And they shall call them The Holy People, The Redeemed of the Eternal; and you shall be called Sought Out, A City Not Forsaken. |
| 63:1 | מִי-זֶה בָּא מֵאֱדוֹם, חֲמוּץ בְּגָדִים מִבָּצְרָה, זֶה הָדוּר בִּלְבוּשׁוֹ, צֹעֶה בְּרֹב כֹּחוֹ; אֲנִי מְדַבֵּר בִּצְדָקָה, רַב לְהוֹשִׁיעַ׃ | mi-ze ba meedom khamuts begadim mibatsra ze hadur bilvusho tsoe berov kokho ani medaber bitsdaka rav lehoshia | Who is this who comes from Edom, with crimsoned garments from Bozrah? This one, glorious in his apparel, marching in the greatness of his strength? “I, who speak in righteousness, mighty to save.” |
| 63:2 | מַדּוּעַ אָדֹם, לִלְבוּשֶׁךָ; וּבְגָדֶיךָ, כְּדֹרֵךְ בְּגַת׃ | madua adom lilvushekha uvgadeykha kedorekh begat | Why is your apparel red, and your garments like one who treads in the winepress? |
| 63:3 | פּוּרָה דָּרַכְתִּי לְבַדִּי, וּמֵעַמִּים אֵין-אִישׁ אִתִּי, וְאֶדְרְכֵם בְּאַפִּי, וְאֶרְמְסֵם בַּחֲמָתִי; וְיֵז נִצְחָם עַל-בְּגָדַי, וְכָל-מַלְבּוּשַׁי אֶגְאָלְתִּי׃ | pura darakhti levadi umeamim en-ish iti veedrekhem beapi veermesem bakhamati veyez nitskham al-begaday vekhol-malbushay egalti | I have trodden the winepress alone, and of the peoples there was no one with Me; I trod them in My anger, and trampled them in My fury; their lifeblood spattered My garments, and I stained all My raiment. |
| 63:4 | כִּי יוֹם נָקָם, בְּלִבִּי; וּשְׁנַת גְּאוּלַי, בָּאָה׃ | ki yom nakam belibi ushnat geulay baa | For the day of vengeance was in My heart, and My year of redemption had come. |
| 63:5 | וְאַבִּיט וְאֵין עֹזֵר, וְאֶשְׁתּוֹמֵם וְאֵין סוֹמֵךְ; וַתּוֹשַׁע לִי זְרֹעִי, וַחֲמָתִי הִיא סְמָכָתְנִי׃ | veabit veen ozer veeshtomem veen somekh vatosha li zeroi vakhamati hi semakhatni | And I looked, and there was none to help, and I was appalled that there was none to uphold; so My own arm brought Me salvation, and My fury, it upheld Me. |
| 63:6 | וְאָבוּס עַמִּים בְּאַפִּי, וַאֲשַׁכְּרֵם בַּחֲמָתִי; וְאוֹרִיד לָאָרֶץ, נִצְחָם׃ | veavus amim beapi vaashakrem bakhamati veorid laarets nitskham | And I trod down the peoples in My anger, and made them drunk in My fury, and poured out their lifeblood on the earth. |
| 63:7 | חַסְדֵי יְהוָה אַזְכִּיר, תְּהִלֹּת יְהוָה, כְּעַל, כֹּל אֲשֶׁר-גְּמָלָנוּ יְהוָה; וְרַב-טוּב לְבֵית יִשְׂרָאֵל, אֲשֶׁר-גְּמָלָם כְּרַחֲמָיו וּכְרֹב חֲסָדָיו׃ | khasde Adonay azkir tehilot Adonay keal kol asher-gemalanu Adonay verav-tuv levet yisrael asher-gemalam kerakhamav ukhrov khasadav | I will recount the mercies of the Eternal, the praises of the Eternal, according to all that the Eternal has bestowed on us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which He bestowed on them according to His compassion and according to the multitude of His mercies. |
| 63:8 | וַיֹּאמֶר אַךְ-עַמִּי הֵמָּה, בָּנִים לֹא יְשַׁקֵּרוּ; וַיְהִי לָהֶם, לְמוֹשִׁיעַ׃ | vayomer akh-ami hema banim lo yeshakeru vayehi lahem lemoshia | For He said: Surely they are My people, children who will not deal falsely; so He became their Savior. |
| 63:9 | בְּכָל-צָרָתָם לא לוֹ צָר, וּמַלְאַךְ פָּנָיו הוֹשִׁיעָם--בְּאַהֲבָתוֹ וּבְחֶמְלָתוֹ, הוּא גְאָלָם; וַיְנַטְּלֵם וַיְנַשְּׂאֵם, כָּל-יְמֵי עוֹלָם׃ | bekhol-tsaratam lo lo tsar umalakh panav hoshiam beahavato uvekhemlato hu gealam vayenatlem vayenaseem kol-yeme olam | In all their affliction He was afflicted, and the angel of His presence saved them; in His love and in His pity He redeemed them; and He lifted them and carried them all the days of old. |
