32:1

When the people saw that Moses delayed coming down from the mountain, the people gathered around Aaron and said to him, “Come, make us gods who shall go before us.”
32:2

32:5

Vayedaber Adonay el Moshe: lekh red ki shijet amekha asher he’elita me’eretz Mitzrayim.
And the Eternal said to Moses, “Go down, for your people, whom you brought up out of the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves.”
32:8

Now therefore let Me alone, that My anger may burn against them and that I may consume them; and I will make of you a great nation.
32:11
Vayejal Moshe et pene Adonay Elohav vayomer: lamah Adonay yejereh apecha be’amekha.
But Moses pleaded before the Eternal his God and said, “Why, O Eternal, should Your anger burn against Your people?”

Why should the Egyptians say, ‘He brought them out with evil intent, to kill them in the mountains and to consume them from the face of the earth’?”
32:13

And the Eternal relented from the harm that He said He would bring upon His people.
32:15

Then Moses turned and went down from the mountain with the two tablets of the testimony in his hand, tablets written on both their sides; on the one side and on the other they were written.

Ben adam, beit Yisrael yoshvim al admatam vayetam’u otah.
Son of man, the house of Israel dwelt in their land and defiled it.
36:18
Va’eshpokh jamati aleihem.
So I poured out My wrath upon them.
36:19
Va’afitz otam bagoyim.
I scattered them among the nations.
36:20
Vayavo’u el hagoyim asher bau sham.
When they came to the nations where they went.
36:21
Va’echmol al shem kodshi.
But I had concern for My holy name.
36:22
Lachen emor leveit Yisrael koh amar Adonay Elohim.
Therefore say to the house of Israel: Thus says the Lord God.
36:23
Vekidashti et shemi hagadol.
I will sanctify My great name.
36:24
Velakajti etkhem min hagoyim.
I will take you from among the nations.
36:25
Vezarakti aleikhem mayim tehorim.
Then I will sprinkle clean water upon you.
36:26
Venatati lakhem lev jadash.
I will give you a new heart.
36:27
Ve’et ruchi eten bekirbekhem.
I will put My Spirit within you.
36:28
Vishavtem baaretz.
You shall dwell in the land.
36:29
Vehoshati etkhem.
I will save you.
36:30
Vehirbeiti et peri ha’etz.
I will multiply the fruit of the tree.
36:31
Uzkhartem et darkeikhem hara’im.
You will remember your evil ways.
36:32
Lo lema’ankhem ani oseh.
It is not for your sake that I do this.
36:33
Beyom tahari etkhem.
On the day that I cleanse you.
36:34
Vehaaretz haneshamah te’aved.
The desolate land shall be tilled.
36:35
Ve’amru haaretz halazu.
They will say, “This land that was desolate.”
36:36
Veyad’u hagoyim.
Then the nations shall know.
36:37
Od zot idaresh.
Thus says the Lord God.
36:38
Ketzon kodashim.
Like a flock for sacrifices.
