| Velavásh haKohén midó vad, umichnezéy-vad yilbásh al-besaró, vehérim et-hadéshen asher tojal ha'ésh et-ha'olah al-hamizbéaj; vesamo étsel hamizbéaj. | The kohen shall put on his linen garment, and linen breeches shall he put on his flesh; and he shall take up the ashes of what the fire has consumed of the burnt offering on the altar, and he shall place them beside the altar. |
| Ufashat et-begadav, velavásh begadim ajerim; vehotsi et-hadéshen el-mijuts lamajaném, el-makom tahór. | He shall then take off his garments, and put on other garments, and carry the ashes outside the camp to a clean place. |

| Vehanoterétt miména yojélu Aharón uvanáv; matsót te'ajél bemakom kadósh, bajatsar Ohel-Mo'éd yojéluha. | What is left of it shall Aaron and his sons eat; it shall be eaten as matzot in a holy place — in the Courtyard of the Ohel Mo'ed they shall eat it. |
| Lo te'afé jaméts, jelkám natáti otáh me'isháy; kodésh kodashím hi, kajatát veja'ashám. | It shall not be baked with chametz; I have given it as their portion of My fire offerings — it is Kodesh Kodashim, like the chatat and like the asham. |
| Kol-zajár bivnéy Aharón yojélenah – jok-olám ledorotejém, me'ishéy Adonay; kol asher-yigá bahem, yikadésh. | Every male among the sons of Aaron may eat it — an eternal statute throughout your generations from the fire offerings of Adonay; whatever touches them shall become holy. |
