The Two Ways — The Righteous and the Wicked

🔊 Audio of Psalm 1

# Hebrew Sephardic Transliteration English
Blessed is the man who has not walked in the counsel of the wicked, nor stood in the way of sinners, nor sat in the seat of scoffers.
Ki im be-torat Adonai kheftzo; u-ve-torato yehgeh yomam va-laylah. But his delight is in the Torah of the LORD, and in His Torah he meditates day and night.
He shall be like a tree planted by streams of water, which gives its fruit in its season; its leaf does not wither, and all that he does shall prosper.
Lo khen ha-resha‘im; ki im ka-motz asher tiddefennu ruakh. Not so the wicked; rather, they are like chaff that the wind drives away.
Therefore the wicked shall not stand in judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
Ki yodea Adonai derekh tzaddikim; ve-derekh resha‘im toved. For the LORD knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked shall perish.
