Te-fi-láh le-a-ní khi ya-a-lóf ve-lif-néi Ado-nái yish-pókh si-khó. A Prayer of one afflicted, when he is faint and pours out his complaint before the LORD.
Ado-nái shim-áh te-fi-la-tí; ve-sha-va-tí e-lé-kha ta-vó. Hear my prayer, O the LORD; let my cry come to You!
Do not hide Your face from me in the day of my distress! Incline Your ear to me; answer me speedily in the day when I call!
Ki kha-lú ve-a-shán ya-m-ái; ve-a-tza-m-ái ke-mo-kéd ni-kha-rú. For my days pass away like smoke, and my bones burn like a furnace.
Hu-k-káh kha-tziár lib-bí; ki sha-khaákh-ti me-a-khól lakh-mí. My heart is struck down like grass and has withered; I forget to eat my bread.
Mi-kól a-na-kha-tí da-v-káh at-tza-m-í li-ve-sa-rí. Because of my loud groaning my bones cling to my flesh.
Da-mí-ti lik-át mid-bár; ha-yí-ti ke-khos ha-ra-vót. I am like a desert owl of the wilderness, like an owl of the waste places.
Sha-kad-tí va-e-h-yéh ke-tzif-pór bo-déd al gág. I lie awake; I am like a lonely sparrow on the housetop.
Kál ha-yom khe-re-fú-ni oy-e-vái; me-hol-le-lái bi nish-be-ú. All the day my enemies taunt me; those who deride me use my name for a curse.
Ki e-fér ka-lé-khem a-khál-ti; ve-shik-u-ví be-ve-khí ma-sákh-ti. For I eat ashes like bread and mingle tears with my drink.
Mi-pe-néi za-am-kha ve-kit-ze-pe-kha; ki ne-sa-tá va-tash-li-khé-ni. Because of Your indignation and anger; for You have taken me up and thrown me down.
Ya-m-ái ke-tzel no-túi; va-a-ní ka-e-sév i-vásh. My days are like an evening shadow; I wither away like grass.
Ve-at-táh Ado-nái le-o-lám te-shév; ve-zikh-re-kha le-dor va-dór. But You, O the LORD, are enthroned forever; You are remembered throughout all generations.
At-táh ta-kúm te-ra-khaám Tzi-yón; ki et le-kha-ne-náh ki vá mo-eéd. You will arise and have pity on Zion; it is the time to favor her; the appointed time has come.
Ki ra-tzú a-va-de-kha et a-va-ne-há; ve-et a-fa-ráh ye-kho-né-nu. For Your servants hold her stones dear and have pity on her dust.
Nations will fear the name of the LORD, and all the kings of the earth will fear Your glory.
Ki va-náh Ado-nái Tzi-yón; nir-áh be-khe-vo-dó. For the LORD builds up Zion; He appears in His glory.
Pa-náh el te-fi-lát ha-ar-a-r; ve-lo va-záh et te-fi-la-tám. He regards the prayer of the destitute and does not despise their prayer.
Ti-ka-tév zo’t le-dor a-kha-rón; ve-am niv-rá ye-ha-lél Yáh. Let this be recorded for a generation to come, so that a people yet to be created may praise the LORD.
Ki hish-kíf mi-me-róm kod-shó; Ado-nái mi-sha-má-yim el e-rétz hi-bít. That He looked down from His holy height; from heaven the LORD looked at the earth.
Lish-mó-a an-kaát a-sír; le-fat-té-akh be-néi te-mu-táh. To hear the groans of the prisoners, to set free those who were doomed to die.
Le-sap-pér be-Tzi-yón shém Ado-nái; u-te-hil-la-tó bi-Ye-ru-sha-lá-yim. That they may declare in Zion the name of the LORD, and in Jerusalem His praise.
Be-hi-kka-vétz am-mím yakh-dáv; u-mam-la-khót la-a-vód et Ado-nái. When peoples gather together, and kingdoms, to worship the LORD.
In-náh va-dé-rekh kho-khí; ki-tzaár ya-m-ái. He has broken my strength in midcourse; He has shortened my days.
I say: O my God, take me not away in the midst of my days — You whose years endure throughout all generations!
Le-fa-ním ha-a-rétz ya-sa-d-tá; u-ma-a-séh ya-de-kha sha-má-yim. Of old You laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the work of Your hands.
Hé-mah yo-ve-dú ve-at-táh ta-a-mód; ve-khu-l-lám ka-b-e-géd yiv-lú; ke-le-vúsh ta-kha-li-fém va-ya-kha-ló-fu. They will perish, but You will remain; they will all wear out like a garment. You will change them like a robe, and they will pass away.
Ve-at-táh hu; ve-she-no-te-kha lo yi-ta-m-mú. But You are the same, and Your years have no end.
Be-néi a-va-de-kha yish-kó-nu; ve-zar-ám le-fa-ne-kha yi-kón. The children of Your servants shall dwell secure; their offspring shall be established before You.
