La-me-nat-tsé-akh le-Da-víd miz-mór. Ado-nái kha-kar-tá-ni va-te-dá. To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. O the LORD, You have searched me and known me!
At-táh ya-dá‘-ta shi-v-tí ve-ku-mí; bin-táh le-re-í-ti me-ra-khók. You know when I sit down and when I rise up; You discern my thoughts from afar.
Or-khí ve-riv-í-ti ze-rí-ta; ve-khál de-ra-k-ái his-kan-tá. You search out my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways.
Ki ein mil-láh bil-sho-ní; hin-néh Ado-nái ya-dá‘-ta khu-l-láh. Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, O the LORD, You know it altogether.
A-khór va-ké-dem tza-r-tá-ni; va-ta-shét a-lái kha-pe-kha. You hem me in, behind and before, and lay Your hand upon me.
Pil-e-yáh da-at mi-me-n-ní; nis-ge-váh lo u-khal láh. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high; I cannot attain it.
A-náh e-lékh me-ru-kha-kha; ve-a-náh mi-pa-ne-kha ev-rá-akh. Where shall I go from Your Spirit? Or where shall I flee from Your presence?
Im e-sa‘ sha-má-yim shám a-t-táh; ve-a-tza-áh she-ol hin-né-kha. If I ascend to heaven, You are there! If I make my bed in Sheol, You are there!
E-sa‘ kan-féi sha-khaár; esh-k-náh be-a-kha-rít ya-m. If I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea.
Gam shám ya-de-kha tan-khé-ni; ve-to-khi-ze-ní ye-mi-ne-kha. Even there Your hand shall lead me, and Your right hand shall hold me.
Va-o-már akh khó-shekh ye-shu-fé-ni; ve-lá-y-lah or ba-a-de-ní. If I say, ‘Surely the darkness shall cover me, and the light about me be night.’
Gam khó-shekh lo yakh-shíkh mim-mé-kha; ve-lá-y-lah ka-yom ya-ír; ka-kho-shé-khah ka-a-oráh. Even the darkness is not dark to You; the night is bright as the day, for darkness is as light with You.
Ki at-táh ka-ní-ta khil-yó-tav; te-su-k-ké-ni be-vé-ten im-mí. For You formed my inward parts; You knitted me together in my mother’s womb.
O-de-kha al ki no-rá-ot nif-léi-ti; nif-la-ót ma-a-se-kha; ve-naf-shí yo-dé-at me-od. I praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are Your works; my soul knows it very well.
My frame was not hidden from You, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth.
Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in Your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.
Ve-lí mah ya-ke-rú re-e-kha E-l; mah a-tze-mú ra-she-hém. How precious to me are Your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them!
Es-pe-rém me-khól yir-bún; he-ki-tzó-ti ve-od a-ní im-mákh. If I would count them, they are more than the sand. I awake, and I am still with You.
Im ta-h-róg E-lo-hím ra-shá; va-an-shéi da-mím sú-ru mim-mé-ni. Oh that You would slay the wicked, O God! O men of blood, depart from me!
A-shér yo-me-rúkha li-mez-im-máh; na-se-ú la-sh-áv a-re-kha. They speak against You with malicious intent; Your enemies take Your name in vain!
Ha-lo me-san-é-kha Ado-nái es-ná; u-vi-te-ko-me-mé-kha et-ka-tó-ta. Do I not hate those who hate You, O the LORD? And do I not loathe those who rise up against You?
Ta-kha-lít sin-áh se-né-ti-m; le-oy-vím ha-yú-li. I hate them with complete hatred; I count them my enemies.
Khu-ke-ré-ni E-l ve-dá‘ le-va-ví; be-sa-né-ni ve-dá‘ sar-e-p-p-ái. Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts!
U-re-éh im dé-rekh o-tsév bí; u-ne-khé-ni be-dé-rekh o-lám. And see if there be any grievous way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting!
