| 1 | הַלְלוּ יָהּ כִּי־טוֹב זַמְּרָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ כִּי־נָעִים נָאוָה תְהִלָּה | Ha-le-lu-yáh. Ki tóv zam-me-ráh E-lo-hé-nu; ki na-ím na-a-váh te-hil-láh. | Hallelujah! For it is good to sing praises to our God; for it is pleasant, and a song of praise is fitting. |
| 2 | בּוֹנֵה יְרוּשָׁלִַם יְהוָה נִדְחֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל יְכַנֵּס | Bo-néh Ye-ru-sha-lá-yim Ado-nái; nid-khéi Yis-ra-él ye-kha-nés. | The LORD builds up Jerusalem; He gathers the outcasts of Israel. |
| 3 | הָרֹפֵא לִשְׁבוּרֵי לֵב וּמְחַבֵּשׁ לְעַצְּבוֹתָם | Ha-ro-fé lish-vú-rei lév; u-me-khab-bésh le-at-tze-vo-tám. | He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. |
| 4 | מוֹנֶה מִסְפָּר לַכּוֹכָבִים לְכֻלָּם שֵׁמוֹת יִקְרָא | Mo-néh mis-pár la-ko-kha-vím; le-khu-l-lám shé-mot yik-rá. | He determines the number of the stars; He gives to all of them their names. |
| 5 | גָּדוֹל אֲדוֹנֵינוּ וְרַב־כֹּחַ לִתְבוּנָתוֹ אֵין מִסְפָּר | Ga-dól a-do-né-nu ve-rav ko-aákh; li-te-vu-na-tó ein mis-pár. | Great is our Lord, and abundant in power; His understanding is beyond measure. |
| 6 | מְעוֹדֵד עֲנָוִים יְהוָה מַשְׁפִּיל רְשָׁעִים עֲדֵי־אָרֶץ | Me-o-déd a-na-vím Ado-nái; mash-píl re-sha-ím a-de-í a-rétz. | The LORD lifts up the humble; He casts the wicked to the ground. |
| 7 | עֱנוּ לַיהוָה בְּתוֹדָה זַמְּרוּ לֵאלֹהֵינוּ בְכִנּוֹר | A-nú la-Ado-nái be-to-dáh; zam-me-rú le-E-lo-hé-nu ve-khin-nór. | Sing to the LORD with thanksgiving; make melody to our God on the lyre! |
| 8 | הַמְכַסֶּה שָׁמַיִם בְּעָבִים הַמֵּכִין לָאָרֶץ מָטָר הַמַּצְמִיחַ הָרִים חָצִיר | Ha-me-khas-séh sha-má-yim be-a-vím; ha-me-khín la-a-rétz ma-tár; ha-matz-mí-akh harím kha-tzír. | He covers the heavens with clouds; He prepares rain for the earth; He makes grass grow on the hills. |
| 9 | נוֹתֵן לִבְהֵמָה לַחְמָהּ לִבְנֵי עֹרֵב אֲשֶׁר יִקְרָאוּ | No-tén li-ve-he-máh lakh-máh; li-ve-néi orév a-shér yik-rá-u. | He gives to the beasts their food, and to the young ravens that cry. |
| 10 | לֹא בִגְבוּרַת הַסּוּס יֶחְפָּץ לֹא־בְשׁוֹקֵי הָאִישׁ יִרְצֶה | Lo vi-vu-rát ha-sús yekh-pátz; lo ve-shokéi ha-ísh yir-tzéh. | His delight is not in the strength of the horse, nor His pleasure in the legs of a man. |
| 11 | רוֹצֶה יְהוָה אֶת־יְרֵאָיו אֶת־הַמְיַחֲלִים לְחַסְדּוֹ | Ro-tséh Ado-nái et ye-re-áv; et ha-me-ya-kha-lím le-khas-dó. | But the LORD takes pleasure in those who fear Him, in those who hope in His steadfast love. |
| 12 | שַׁבְּחִי יְרוּשָׁלִַם אֶת־יְהוָה הַלְלִי אֱלֹהַיִךְ צִיּוֹן | Sha-be-khí Ye-ru-sha-lá-yim et Ado-nái; ha-le-lí E-lo-ha-yíkhi Tzi-yón. | Praise the LORD, O Jerusalem! Praise your God, O Zion! |
| 13 | כִּי־חִזַּק בְּרִיחֵי שְׁעָרָיִךְ בֵּרַךְ בָּנַיִךְ בְּקִרְבֵּךְ | Ki khi-z-zák be-ri-khéi she-a-ra-yíkh; be-rákh ba-na-yíkh be-kír-bekh. | For He strengthens the bars of your gates; He blesses your children within you. |
| 14 | הַשָּׂם־גְּבוּלֵךְ שָׁלוֹם חֵלֶב חִטִּים יַשְׂבִּיעֵךְ | Ha-saám ge-vu-lé-khi sha-lóm; khé-lev khi-tím yas-bi-e-kh. | He makes peace in your borders; He fills you with the finest of the wheat. |
| 15 | הַשֹּׁלֵחַ אִמְרָתוֹ אָרֶץ עַד־מְהֵרָה יָרוּץ דְּבָרוֹ | Ha-sho-lé-akh im-ra-tó a-rétz; ad me-he-ráh ya-rútz de-va-ró. | He sends out His command to the earth; His word runs swiftly. |
| 16 | הַנֹּתֵן שֶׁלֶג כַּצָּמֶר כְּפוֹר כָּאֵפֶר יְפַזֵּר | Ha-notén shé-leg ka-tza-mér; ke-fór ka-e-fér ye-za-réh. | He gives snow like wool; He scatters frost like ashes. |
| 17 | מַשְׁלִיךְ קַרְחוֹ כְפִתִּים לִפְנֵי קָרָתוֹ מִי יַעֲמֹד | Mash-líkh kar-p-pí-to ke-fit-tím; lif-néi ka-ra-tó mi ya-a-mód. | He hurls down his crystals of ice like crumbs; who can stand before His cold? |
| 18 | יִשְׁלַח דְּבָרוֹ וְיַמְסֵם יַשֵּׁב רוּחוֹ יִזְּלוּ־מָיִם | Yish-laákh de-va-ró ve-yam-se-m; yashév ru-khó yi-ze-lú-ma-yím. | He sends out His word, and melts them; He makes His wind blow and the waters flow. |
| 19 | מַגִּיד דברודברודְּבָרָיו לְיַעֲקֹב חֻקָּיו וּמִשְׁפָּטָיו לְיִשְׂרָאֵל | Mag-gíd de-va-ráv le-Ya-a-kóv; khu-káv u-mish-pa-táv le-Yis-ra-él. | He declares His word to Jacob, His statutes and rules to Israel. |
| 20 | לֹא עָשָׂה כֵן לְכָל־גּוֹי וּמִשְׁפָּטִים בַּל־יְדָעוּם הַלְלוּ־יָהּ | Lo a-sáh khén le-khál goi; u-mish-pa-tím bal ye-da-um; ha-le-lu-yáh. | He has not dealt thus with any other nation; they do not know His rules. Hallelujah! |
