לַמְנַצֵּחַ מִזְמוֹר לְדָוִד |
Lamnatzeakh mizmor leDavid. |
For the leader. A psalm of David. |

הַשָּׁמַיִם מְסַפְּרִים כְּבוֹד־אֵל וּמַעֲשֵׂה יָדָיו מַגִּיד הָרָקִיעַ |
Hashamáyim mesappérim kevod-El, uma’aséh yadav maggíd haraqía’. |
The heavens declare the glory of God, and the firmament proclaims the work of His hands. |

יוֹם לְיוֹם יַבִּיעַ אֹמֶר וְלַיְלָה לְּלַיְלָה יְחַוֶּה־דָּעַת |
Yóm leyóm yabbía’ ómer, veláilah leláilah yekhavvéh-dá’at. |
Day to day pours forth speech, and night to night reveals knowledge. |

אֵין־אֹמֶר וְאֵין דְּבָרִים בְּלִי נִשְׁמָע קוֹלָם |
Ein-ómer ve’ein devarím, belí nishmá’ qolám. |
There is no speech, there are no words, whose voice is not heard. |

בְּכָל־הָאָרֶץ יָצָא קַוָּם וּבִקְצֵה תֵבֵל מִלֵּיהֶם לַשֶּׁמֶשׁ שָׂם־אֹהֶל בָּהֶם |
Bekhol-ha’árets yatsá qavvám, uviqtséh tevél milleihém, lashemésh sam-óhel bahém. |
Their line goes out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them He has set a tent for the sun, |

וְהוּא כְּחָתָן יֹצֵא מֵחֻפָּתוֹ יָשִׂישׂ כְּגִבּוֹר לָרוּץ אֹרַח |
Vehú kekhatán yotsé’ mekhuffató, yasís kegibbór larúts órakh. |
which is like a bridegroom coming forth from his chamber, rejoicing like a strong man to run his course. |

מִקְצֵה הַשָּׁמַיִם מוֹצָאוֹ וּתְקוּפָתוֹ עַל־קְצוֹתָם וְאֵין נִסְתָּר מֵחַמָּתוֹ |
Miqtséh hashamáyim motsa’ó, utqufató ’al-qetsotám, ve’ein nistár mekhammató. |
From the end of the heavens it goes forth, and its circuit reaches to their end; and nothing is hidden from its heat. |

תּוֹרַת יהוה תְּמִימָה מְשִׁיבַת נָפֶשׁ עֵדוּת יהוה נֶאֱמָנָה מַחְכִּימַת פֶּתִי |
Torát Adonai temimáh, meshívat néfesh, ’edút Adonai ne’emánah, makhkímat péti. |
The Torah of Adonai is perfect, restoring the soul; the testimony of Adonai is sure, making wise the simple. |

פִּקּוּדֵי יהוה יְשָׁרִים מְשַׂמְּחֵי־לֵב מִצְוַת יהוה בָּרָה מְאִירַת עֵינָיִם |
Piqqudé Adonai yesharím, mesammkhé-lev, mitsvát Adonai baráh, me’írat ’eináyim. |
The precepts of Adonai are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of Adonai is pure, enlightening the eyes. |

יִרְאַת יהוה טְהוֹרָה עוֹמֶדֶת לָעַד מִשְׁפְּטֵי־יהוה אֱמֶת צָדְקוּ יַחְדָּו |
Yir’át Adonai tehoráh, omédet la’ád, mishpeté Adonai emét, tsadeqú yakhdáv. |
The fear of Adonai is clean, enduring forever; the judgments of Adonai are true and altogether righteous. |

הַנֶּחֱמָדִים מִזָּהָב וּמִפַּז רָב וּמְתוּקִים מִדְּבַשׁ וְנֹפֶת צוּפִים |
Hannekhemadím mizzaháv umippáz rav, umetuqím middévash venófhet tsufím. |
They are more desirable than gold, than much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. |

גַּם־עַבְדְּךָ נִזְהָר בָּהֶם בְּשָׁמְרָם עֵקֶב רָב |
Gam-’avdekha nizhár bahém, beshomrám éqev rav. |
Moreover, by them Your servant is warned; in keeping them there is great reward. |
| 13 |
שְׁגִיאוֹת מִי־יָבִין מִנִּסְתָּרוֹת נַקֵּנִי |
Sheguiót mi-yavín, minnistarót naqqéni. |
Who can discern his errors? Cleanse me from hidden faults. |
| 14 |
גַּם מִזֵּדִים חֲשׂךְ עַבְדֶּךָ אַל־יִמְשְׁלוּ־בִי אָז אֵיתָם וְנִקֵּיתִי מִפֶּשַׁע רָב |
Gam mizzedím khasókh ’avdékha, al-yimshelú-vi, az eitám veniqkéti mippésha’ rav. |
Keep back Your servant also from willful sins; let them not have dominion over me; then I shall be blameless and innocent of great transgression. |
| 15 |
יִהְיוּ לְרָצוֹן אִמְרֵי־פִי וְהֶגְיוֹן לִבִּי לְפָנֶיךָ יהוה צוּרִי וְגוֹאֲלִי |
Yihyú leratsón imré-fi vehegyón libbí lefanékha, Adonai tsurí vego’alí. |
Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable before You, O Adonai, my rock and my redeemer. |
