| 1 | לְדָוִ֗ד בְּשַׁנּוֹת֣וֹ אֶת־טַ֖עְמוֹ לִפְנֵ֣י אֲבִימֶ֑לֶךְ וַֽ֜יְגָֽרְשֵׁ֗הוּ וַיֵּלַֽךְ: | Le-Da-víd be-sha-no-tó et ta-a-mó lif-néi A-vi-mé-lekh; va-ye-ga-re-shé-hu va-yé-lekh. | Of David, when he changed his behavior before Abimelech, so that he drove him out, and he went away. |
| 2 | אֲבָרֲכָה אֶת־יְהוָה בְּכָל־עֵת תָּמִיד תְּהִלָּתוֹ בְּפִי | A-va-re-kháh et Ado-nái be-khál et; ta-míd te-hi-la-tó be-fi. | I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. |
| 3 | בַּיהוָה תִּתְהַלֵּל נַפְשִׁי יִשְׁמְעוּ עֲנָוִים וְיִשְׂמָחוּ | Ba-Ado-nái tit-ha-lal naf-shí; yish-me-ú a-na-vím ve-yis-ma-khú. | My soul makes its boast in the LORD; let the humble hear and be glad. |
| 4 | גַּדְּלוּ לַיהוָה אִתִּי וּנְרוֹמְמָה שְׁמוֹ יַחְדָּו | Gad-dé-lu la-Ado-nái it-tí; u-ne-ro-me-máh sh-mó ya-khad-dáv. | Oh, magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt His name together! |
| 5 | דָּרַשְׁתִּי אֶת־יְהוָה וְעָנָנִי וּמִכָּל־מְגוּרוֹתַי הִצִּילָנִי | Da-resh-tí et Ado-nái va-a-ná-ni; u-mi-kál me-gu-ro-t-ái hi-tzí-la-ni. | I sought the LORD, and He answered me and delivered me from all my fears. |
| 6 | הִבִּיטוּ אֵלָיו וְנָהָרוּ וּפְנֵיהֶם אַל־יֶחְפָּרוּ | Hi-bí-tu e-láv ve-na-ha-rú; u-fe-ne-hém al ye-kha-pe-rú. | Those who look to Him are radiant, and their faces shall never be ashamed. |
| 7 | זֶה עָנִי קָרָא וַיהוָה שָׁמֵעַ וּמִכָּל־צָרוֹתָיו הוֹשִׁיעוֹ | Ze a-ní ka-rá va-Ado-nái sha-mé-a‘; u-mi-kál tza-ro-táv ho-shi-a-ó. | This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him and saved him out of all his troubles. |
| 8 | חֹנֶה מַלְאַךְ־יְהוָה סָבִיב לִירֵאָיו וַיְחַלְּצֵם | Kho-néh mal-akh Ado-nái sa-vív li-re-áv; va-ye-khal-le-tsém. | The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear Him, and delivers them. |
| 9 | טַעֲמוּ וּרְאוּ כִּי־טוֹב יְהוָה אַשְׁרֵי הַגֶּבֶר יֶחֱסֶה־בּוֹ | Ta-a-mú u-re-ú ki tóv Ado-nái; ash-réi ha-gé-ver ye-khe-séh bo. | Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him! |
| 10 | יְראוּ אֶת־יְהוָה קְדֹשָׁיו כִּי־אֵין מַחְסוֹר לִירֵאָיו | Ye-rú et Ado-nái ke-do-sháv; ki ein makh-sór li-re-áv. | Oh, fear the LORD, you His saints, for those who fear Him have no lack! |
| 11 | כְּפִירִים רָשׁוּ וְרָעֵבוּ וְדֹרְשֵׁי יְהוָה לֹא־יַחְסְרוּ כָל־טוֹב | Ke-firím ra-shú ve-ra-eé-vu; ve-dor-shéi Ado-nái lo yakh-se-rú khál tóv. | The young lions suffer want and hunger; but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing. |
| 12 | לְכוּ־בָנִים שִׁמְעוּ־לִי יִרְאַת יְהוָה אֲלַמֶּדְכֶם | Le-khú-ve-na-nim shim-e-ú-li; yir-at Ado-nái a-lam-me-de-khém. | Come, O children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD. |
| 13 | מִי־הָאִישׁ הֶחָפֵץ חַיִּים אֹהֵב יָמִים לִרְאוֹת טוֹב | Mi ha-ísh he-kha-fétz kha-y-yím; o-hév ya-mím lir-oót tóv. | What man is there who desires life and loves many days, that he may see good? |
| 14 | נְצֹר לְשׁוֹנְךָ מֵרָע וּשְׂפָתֶיךָ מִדַּבֵּר מִרְמָה | Ne-tzór le-sho-ne-kha me-rá; u-sfa-te-kha mi-dab-bér mir-máh. | Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking deceit. |
| 15 | סוּר מֵרָע וַעֲשֵׂה־טוֹב בַּקֵּשׁ שָׁלוֹם וְרָדְפֵהוּ | Súr me-rá va-a-séh tóv; bak-késh sha-lóm ve-rod-fe-hú. | Turn away from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it. |
| 16 | עֵינֵי יְהוָה אֶל־צַדִּיקִים וְאָזְנָיו אֶל־שַׁוְעָתָם | E-néi Ado-nái el tzad-dí-kim; ve-oz-náv el sha-va-tám. | The eyes of the LORD are toward the righteous and His ears toward their cry. |
| 17 | פְּנֵי יְהוָה בְּעֹשֵׂי רָע לְהַכְרִית מֵאֶרֶץ זִכְרָם | Pe-néi Ado-nái be-o-séi rá; le-hakh-rít me-e-rétz zikh-rám. | The face of the LORD is against those who do evil, to cut off the memory of them from the earth. |
| 18 | צָעֲקוּ וַיהוָה שָׁמֵעַ וּמִכָּל־צָרוֹתָם הִצִּילָם | Tza-a-kú ve-Ado-nái sha-mé-a‘; u-mi-kál tza-ro-tám hi-tzí-lam. | When the righteous cry for help, the LORD hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. |
| 19 | קָרוֹב יְהוָה לְנִשְׁבְּרֵי־לֵב וְאֶת־דַּכְּאֵי־רוּחַ יוֹשִׁיעַ | Ka-róv Ado-nái le-nish-b-réi lév; ve-et dak-kéi rú-akh yo-shi-a‘. | The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. |
| 20 | רַבּוֹת רָעוֹת צַדִּיק וּמִכֻּלָּם יַצִּילֶנּוּ יְהוָה | Ra-bót ra-ót tzad-dík; u-mi-ku-l-lám yatz-tzi-lé-nu Ado-nái. | Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all. |
| 21 | שֹׁמֵר כָּל־עַצְמוֹתָיו אַחַת מֵהֵנָּה לֹא נִשְׁבָּרָה | Sho-mér kál at-tze-mo-táv; a-khaát me-hé-nah lo nish-bá-rah. | He keeps all his bones; not one of them is broken. |
| 22 | תְּמוֹתֵת רָשָׁע רָעָה וְשֹׂנְאֵי צַדִּיק יֶאְשָׁמוּ | Te-mo-tét ra-shá ra-áh; ve-son-e-éi tzad-dík ye-ash-mú. | Evil shall slay the wicked, and those who hate the righteous will be condemned. |
| 23 | פּוֹדֶה יְהוָה נֶפֶשׁ עֲבָדָיו וְלֹא יֶאְשְׁמוּ כָּל־הַחֹסִים בּוֹ | Po-déh Ado-nái né-fesh a-va-dáv; ve-lo ye-ash-mú kál ha-kho-sím bo. | The LORD redeems the life of His servants; none of those who take refuge in Him will be condemned. |
