| 1 | לַֽמְנַצֵּ֗חַ מִזְמ֥וֹר לְדָוִֽד: | La-me-nat-tsé-akh miz-mór le-Da-víd. | To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. |
| 2 | אַשְׁרֵי מַשְׂכִּיל אֶל־דָּל בְּיוֹם רָעָה יְמַלְּטֵהוּ יְהוָה | Ash-réi maskíl el dal; be-yom ra-áh ye-mal-le-té-hu Ado-nái. | Blessed is the one who considers the poor! In the day of trouble the LORD delivers him. |
| 3 | יְהוָה יִשְׁמְרֵהוּ וִיחַיֵּהוּ יאשריאשרוְאֻשַּׁר בָּאָרֶץ וְאַל־תִּתְּנֵהוּ בְּנֶפֶשׁ אֹיְבָיו | Ado-nái yish-me-ré-hu vi-kha-y-yé-hu; ve-ush-shár ba-á-rets; ve-al tit-ne-nú be-né-fesh oy-e-váv. | The LORD protects him and keeps him alive; he is called blessed in the land; You do not give him up to the will of his enemies. |
| 4 | יְהוָה יִסְעָדֶנּוּ עַל־עֶרֶשׂ דְּוָי כָּל־מִשְׁכָּבוֹ הָפַכְתָּ בְחָלְיוֹ | Ado-nái yis-a-dé-nu al e-rés de-vái; kál mish-ka-vó ha-fákh-ta be-kha-lyó. | The LORD sustains him on his sickbed; in his illness You restore him to full health. |
| 5 | אֲנִי־אָמַרְתִּי יְהוָה חָנֵּנִי רְפָאָה נַפְשִׁי כִּי־חָטָאתִי לָךְ | A-ní a-már-ti Ado-nái kho-né-ni; re-fa-áh naf-shí ki kha-tá-ti lákh. | As for me, I said, ‘O the LORD, be gracious to me; heal me, for I have sinned against You!’ |
| 6 | אוֹיְבַי יֹאמְרוּ רַע לִי מָתַי יָמוּת וְאָבַד שְׁמוֹ | Oy-e-vái yo-me-rú ra lí; ma-tái ya-mút ve-a-vád she-mó. | My enemies say of me in malice, ‘When will he die, and his name perish?’ |
| 7 | וְאִם־בָּא לִרְאוֹת שָׁוְא יְדַבֵּר לִבּוֹ יִקְבָּץ־אָוֶן לוֹ יֵצֵא לַחוּץ יְדַבֵּר | Ve-im ba le-r-oót sháv ye-dab-bér; lib-bó yik-bótz a-vén lo; ye-tzé la-khútz ye-dab-bér. | And when one comes to see me, he utters empty words, while his heart gathers iniquity; when he goes out, he tells it abroad. |
| 8 | יַחַד עָלַי יִתְלַחֲשׁוּ כָּל־שֹׂנְאָי עָלַי יַחְשְׁבוּ רָעָה לִי | Yakh-dáv a-lái yit-la-kha-shú kál so-ne-ái; a-lái yakh-she-vú ra-áh lí. | All who hate me whisper together about me; they imagine the worst for me. |
| 9 | דְּבַר־בְּלִיַּעַל יָצוּק בּוֹ וַאֲשֶׁר שָׁכַב לֹא־יוֹסִיף לָקוּם | De-var be-li-ya-a-l yá-tzuk bo; va-a-shér sha-kháv lo yo-síf la-kúm. | They say, ‘A deadly thing is poured out on him; he will not rise again from where he lies.’ |
| 10 | גַּם־אִישׁ שְׁלוֹמִי אֲשֶׁר־בָּטַחְתִּי בוֹ אוֹכֵל לַחְמִי הִגְדִּיל עָלַי עָקֵב | Gam ísh she-lo-mí a-shér ba-tákh-ti vo; o-khél lakh-mí; hig-díl a-lái a-kév. | Even my close friend in whom I trusted, who ate my bread, has lifted his heel against me. |
| 11 | וְאַתָּה יְהוָה חָנֵּנִי וַהֲקִימֵנִי וַאֲשַׁלְּמָה לָהֶם | Ve-at-táh Ado-nái kho-né-ni ve-ha-ki-mé-ni; va-a-sha-le-máh la-hém. | But You, O the LORD, be gracious to me, and raise me up, that I may repay them! |
| 12 | בְּזֹאת יָדַעְתִּי כִּי־חָפַצְתָּ בִּי כִּי לֹא־יָרִיעַ אֹיְבִי עָלָי | Be-zót ya-dá‘-ti ki kha-fátz-ta bí; ki lo ya-ri-á‘ oy-e-ví a-lái. | By this I know that You delight in me: my enemy will not shout in triumph over me. |
| 13 | וַאֲנִי בְּתֻמִּי תָּמַכְתָּ בִּי וַתַּצִּיבֵנִי לְפָנֶיךָ לְעוֹלָם | Va-a-ní be-tu-m-mí ta-mákh-ta bí; va-te-tzi-vé-ni lif-né-kha le-o-lám. | But You have upheld me because of my integrity, and set me in Your presence forever. |
| 14 | בָּרוּךְ יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל מֵהָעוֹלָם וְעַד הָעוֹלָם אָמֵן וְאָמֵן | Ba-rúkh Ado-nái E-lo-héi Yis-ra-él me-ha-o-lám ve-ad ha-o-lám; a-mén va-a-mén. | Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting! Amen and Amen. |
