Lamnatzeakh el-hannekhilot, mizmor leDavid. For the leader, for the flutes. A psalm of David.
Amarai ha’azinah Adonai, binah hagigí. Give ear to my words, O Adonai; consider my meditation.
Hakshivah lekol shav’í, Malkí veElohai, ki-elekha etpalal. Hearken to the voice of my cry, my King and my God, for to You I pray.
Adonai, boker tishmá kolí; boker e’erakh-lekhá va’atzapé. O Adonai, in the morning You hear my voice; in the morning I set my prayer before You, and I wait.
Ki lo El khafetz resha atah; lo yegurkhá ra. For You are not a God who delights in wickedness; evil cannot dwell with You.
Lo-yityatzevú holelim leneged einekha; saneta kol-poaléi aven. The boastful cannot stand before Your eyes; You hate all workers of iniquity.
Te’abed doverei khazav; ish-damim umirmah yeta’ev Adonai. You destroy those who speak falsehood; Adonai abhors the man of blood and deceit.
Vaaní berov khasdekha avo vetekha; eshtakhavéh el-hekhal kodshekha beyir’atekha. But I, through Your abundant kindness, will come into Your house; I will bow toward Your holy temple in awe of You.
Lead me, O Adonai, in Your righteousness because of my watchful foes; make Your way straight before me.
Ki ein befihu nekhonah; kirbam havvot; kever-patuakh geronam; leshonam yakhalikun. For there is no sincerity in their mouth; their inward part is destruction; their throat is an open grave; they flatter with their tongue.
Hold them guilty, O God; let them fall by their own counsels; cast them out for their many transgressions, for they have rebelled against You.
But let all who take refuge in You rejoice; let them ever sing for joy, and may You shelter them, that those who love Your name may exult in You.
Ki-atah tevarekh tzadik Adonai; katzinah ratzon ta’terénu. For You, O Adonai, bless the righteous; You surround him with favor as with a shield.
