| 2 | רֹעֵה יִשְׂרָאֵל הַאֲזִינָה נֹהֵג כַּצֹּאן יוֹסֵף יֹשֵׁב הַכְּרוּבִים הוֹפִיעָה | Ro-éh Yis-ra-él ha-azí-nah; no-hég ka-tzon Yo-séf; yo-shév ha-ke-ru-vím ho-fí-ah. | Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, You who lead Joseph like a flock. You who are enthroned upon the cherubim, shine forth. |

| 6 | הֶאֱכַלְתָּם לֶחֶם דִּמְעָה וַתַּשְׁקֵמוֹ בִּדְמָעוֹת שָׁלִישׁ | He-e-kha-l-tám lé-khem dim-aáh; va-tash-kém bi-de-ma-ót sha-lísh. | You have fed them with the bread of tears and given them tears to drink in full measure. |
| 7 | תְּשִׂימֵנוּ מָדוֹן לִשְׁכֵנֵינוּ וְאֹיְבֵינוּ יִלְעֲגוּ־לָמוֹ | Ta-si-mé-nu ma-dón lish-khe-né-nu; ve-oy-ve-í-nu yil-a-gu la-m-o. | You make us an object of contention for our neighbors, and our enemies laugh among themselves. |

| 9 | גֶּפֶן מִמִּצְרַיִם תַּסִּיעַ תְּגָרֵשׁ גּוֹיִם וַתִּטָּעֶהָ | Gé-fen mi-Mitz-ra-yím tas-sí-a; te-ga-résh go-yím va-tit-t-a-e-há. | You brought a vine out of Egypt; You drove out the nations and planted it. |
| 10 | פִּנִּיתָ לְפָנֶיהָ וַתַּשְׁרֵשׁ שָׁרָשֶׁיהָ וַתְּמַלֵּא־אָרֶץ | Pi-ní-ta lif-ne-há; va-ta-she-résh sha-ra-she-há; va-te-malé a-rétz. | You cleared the ground for it; it took deep root and filled the land. |
| 11 | כָּסּוּ הָרִים צִלָּהּ וַעֲנָפֶיהָ אַרְזֵי־אֵל | Kas-sú harím tzil-láh; va-a-na-fé-ha ar-ze E-l. | The mountains were covered with its shade, the mighty cedars with its branches. |
| 12 | תְּשַׁלַּח קְצִירֶהָ עַד־יָם וְאֶל־נָהָר יוֹנְקוֹתֶיהָ | Te-shal-lakh kha-tzi-re-há ad yám; ve-el na-hár yo-ne-ko-te-há. | It sent out its branches to the sea and its shoots to the River. |
| 13 | לָמָּה פָּרַצְתָּ גְדֵרֶיהָ וְאָרוּהָ כָּל־עֹבְרֵי דָרֶךְ | La-máh pa-ratz-tá ge-de-ré-ha; ve-a-rú-ha kál o-ve-réi dé-rekh. | Why then have You broken down its walls, so that all who pass along the way pluck its fruit? |
| 14 | יְכַרְסְמֶנָּה חֲזִיר מִיָּעַר וְזִיז שָׂדַי יִרְעֶנָּה | Ye-kha-r-se-mé-ha kha-zír mi-ya-ar; ve-zíz sa-dái yir-e-n-náh. | The boar from the forest ravages it, and all that move in the field feed on it. |
| 15 | אֱלֹהִים צְבָאוֹת שׁוּב־נָא הַבֵּט מִשָּׁמַיִם וּרְאֵה וּפְקֹד גֶּפֶן זֹאת | E-lo-hím tze-va-ót shúv na; habet mi-sha-má-yim u-re-éh; u-fe-kód ga-fén zót. | Turn again, O God of hosts! Look down from heaven, and see; have regard for this vine. |
| 16 | וְכַנָּה אֲשֶׁר־נָטְעָה יְמִינֶךָ וְעַל־בֵּן אִמַּצְתָּה לָּךְ | Ve-kin-náh a-shér na-te-ah ye-mi-ne-khá; ve-al ben kim-man-tá lákh. | The stock that Your right hand planted, and for the son whom You made strong for Yourself. |
| 17 | שְׂרֻפָה בָאֵשׁ כְּסוּחָה מִגַּעֲרַת פָּנֶיךָ יֹאבֵדוּ | Se-ru-fáh va-ésh ke-su-káh; mi-ge-a-rat pa-ne-kha yo-ve-dú. | They have burned it with fire; they have cut it down; may they perish at the rebuke of Your face! |
| 18 | תְּהִי־יָדְךָ עַל־אִישׁ יְמִינֶךָ עַל־בֶּן־אָדָם אִמַּצְתָּ לָּךְ | Te-hí ya-de-khá al ísh ye-mi-ne-khá; al ben a-dám im-matz-tá lákh. | But let Your hand be on the man of Your right hand, the son of man whom You have made strong for Yourself! |
| 19 | וְלֹא־נָסוֹג מִמֶּךָּ תְּחַיֵּנוּ וּבְשִׁמְךָ נִקְרָא | Ve-lo na-súg mim-mé-ka; te-kha-y-ye-nú u-ve-shim-khá nik-rá. | Then we shall not turn back from You; give us life, and we will call upon Your name! |
