La-me-nat-tsé-akh le-Da-víd miz-mór. E-lo-héi te-hil-la-tí al te-khe-rásh. To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. Be not silent, O God of my praise!
For wicked and deceitful mouths are opened against me, speaking against me with lying tongues.
Ve-div-réi sin-áh se-va-vú-ni; va-yi-la-kha-mú-ni khi-n-nám. They encircle me with words of hate, and attack me without cause.
Ta-khaát a-ha-va-tí yis-te-nú-ni; va-a-ní te-fi-láh. In return for my love they accuse me, but I give myself to prayer.
Va-ya-si-mú a-lái ra-áh ta-khaát to-váh; ve-sin-áh ta-khaát a-ha-va-tí. So they reward me evil for good, and hatred for my love.
Haf-kéd a-láv ra-shá; ve-sa-tán ya-a-mód al ye-mi-nó. Appoint a wicked man against him; let an accuser stand at his right hand.
Be-hi-sha-fe-tó ye-tzé ra-shá; u-te-fi-la-tó tih-yéh la-kha-ta-áh. When he is tried, let him come forth guilty; let his prayer be counted as sin!
Yih-yú ya-máv me-a-tím; pe-ku-da-tó yi-kákh a-khér. May his days be few; may another take his office!
Yih-yú va-náv ye-to-mím; ve-ish-tó al-ma-náh. May his children be fatherless and his wife a widow!
Ve-no-a ya-nu-ú-u va-náv u-she-e-lú; ve-dik-shú me-kha-r-be-so-té-hem. May his children wander about and beg, seeking food far from the ruins they inhabit!
Ye-nak-késh no-shéh le-khál a-shér-lo; va-ya-vozú za-rím ye-gi-e-o. May the creditor seize all that he has; may strangers plunder the fruits of his toil!
Al ye-hí-lo mo-shékh khé-sed; ve-al ye-hí kho-nén li-ye-to-máv. Let there be none to extend kindness to him, nor any to pity his fatherless children!
Ye-hí a-kha-ri-tó le-hakh-rít; be-dor a-khér yi-m-akh she-mám. May his posterity be cut off; may his name be blotted out in the second generation!
Yi-za-kér a-vón a-vo-táv el Ado-nái; ve-kha-taát im-mó al ti-ma-kh. May the iniquity of his fathers be remembered before the LORD, and let not the sin of his mother be blotted out!
Yih-yú ne-géd Ado-nái ta-míd; ve-yakh-rét me-e-rétz zikh-rám. Let them be before the LORD continually, that He may cut off the memory of them from the earth!
יַעַן אֲשֶׁר לֹא זָכַר עֲשׂוֹת חָסֶד וַיִּרְדֹּף אִישׁ־עָנִי וְאֶבְיוֹן וְנִכְאֵה לֵבָב לְמוֹתֵת Ya-aán a-shér lo za-khár a-so’t khé-sed; va-yir-dóf ísh a-ní ve-ev-yón; ve-nik-e-h lev le-mo-tét. For he did not remember to show kindness, but pursued the poor and needy and the brokenhearted, to put them to death.
Va-ye-a-hév ke-la-láh va-te-vo-e-hú-lo; ve-lo kha-fétz be-ve-ra-kháh va-tir-khaák mim-mé-nu. He loved to curse; let curses come upon him! He did not delight in blessing; may it be far from him!
Va-yil-ba’sh ke-la-láh ke-mad-dó; va-ta-vó kha-ma-yím be-kir-bó; ve-cha-shé-men be-a-tza-mo-táv. He clothed himself with cursing as his coat; may it soak into his body like water, like oil into his bones!
Te-hí-lo ke-bé-ged ya-at-téh; u-le-ma-zeákh ta-míd yakh-ge-ré-ha. May it be like a garment that he wraps around him, like a belt that he puts on every day!
Ze pe-u-lát sor-r-ái me-et Ado-nái; ve-ha-do-ve-rím ra’-a al naf-shí. May this be the reward of my accusers from the LORD, of those who speak evil against my life!
Ve-at-táh Ado-nái E-lo-h-ái a-séh it-tí le-ma-an she-me-kha; ki tóv khas-de-kha hatz-tzi-lé-ni. But You, O the LORD my God, deal on my behalf for Your name’s sake; because Your steadfast love is good, deliver me!
Ki a-ní a-ní ve-ev-yón a-ní; ve-lib-bí kha-lál be-kir-bí. For I am poor and needy, and my heart is stricken within me.
Ke-tzel bin-to-tó ne-he-lékh-ti; nin-ar-tí ka-ar-béh. I am gone like a shadow at evening; I am shaken off like a locust.
Bir-k-ái ka-she-lú mi-tzom; u-ve-sa-rí ka-khash me-shé-men. My knees are weak through fasting; my body has become gaunt, with no fat.
Va-a-ní ha-yí-ti kher-páh la-hém; yir-ú-ni ya-ni-ú-un ro-shám. I am an object of scorn to my accusers; when they see me, they wag their heads.
Ez-ré-ni Ado-nái E-lo-h-ái; ho-shi-e-ní ke-khas-de-kha. Help me, O the LORD my God! Save me according to Your steadfast love!
Ve-ye-de-ú ki ya-de-kha zo’t; at-táh Ado-nái a-si-táh. Let them know that this is Your hand; You, O the LORD, have done it!
Ye-ka-le-lú-hem ve-at-táh te-va-rékh; ka-mú va-ye-vo-shú; ve-av-de-kha yis-mákh. Let them curse, but You will bless! They arise and are put to shame, but Your servant will be glad!
Yil-be-shú sor-r-ái ke-lim-máh; ve-ya-atú-hu va-mé-il bosh-tám. May my accusers be clothed with dishonor; may they be wrapped in their own shame as in a cloak!
O-déh Ado-nái me-od be-fi; u-ve-tókh ra-bím a-ha-le-lé-nu. With my mouth I will give great thanks to the LORD; I will praise Him in the midst of the throng.
Ki ya-a-mód li-y-min ev-yón; le-ho-shí-a mi-shof-te-í naf-shí. For He stands at the right hand of the needy one, to save him from those who condemn his soul to death.
