| 3 | אֲפָפוּנִי חֶבְלֵי־מָוֶת וּמְצָרֵי שְׁאוֹל מְצָאוּנִי צָרָה וְיָגוֹן אֶמְצָא | A-fa-fú-ni khe-vléi má-vet; u-me-tza-réi she-o-l me-tzá-u-ni; tza-ráh ve-ya-gón im-tzá. | The snares of death encompassed me; the pangs of Sheol laid hold on me; I suffered distress and anguish. |

| 7 | שׁוּבִי נַפְשִׁי לִמְנוּחָיְכִי כִּי־יְהוָה גָּמַל עָלָיְכִי | Shu-ví naf-shí li-me-nu-kha-y-á-khi; ki Ado-nái ga-mál a-lá-yikh. | Return, O my soul, to your rest; for the LORD has dealt bountifully with you. |

| 10 | הֶאֱמַנְתִּי כִּי אֲדַבֵּר אֲנִי עָנִיתִי מְאֹד | He-e-man-tí ki a-dab-bér; a-ní a-ní-ti me-od. | I believed, even when I spoke: ‘I am greatly afflicted.’ |
| 11 | אֲנִי אָמַרְתִּי בְחָפְזִי כָּל־הָאָדָם כֹּזֵב | A-ní a-mar-tí ve-khoz-zí; kál ha-a-dám ko-zév. | I said in my alarm, ‘All mankind are liars.’ |
| 12 | מָה־אָשִׁיב לַיהוָה כָּל־תַּגְמוּלוֹהִי עָלָי | Mah a-shív la-Ado-nái; kál ta-ge-mu-lo-hí a-lái. | What shall I render to the LORD for all His benefits to me? |
| 13 | כּוֹס־יְשׁוּעוֹת אֶשָּׂא וּבְשֵׁם יְהוָה אֶקְרָא | Kos ye-shu-o-t es-sá; u-ve-shém Ado-nái ek-rá. | I will lift up the cup of salvation and call on the name of the LORD. |

| 16 | אָנָּה יְהוָה כִּי־אֲנִי עַבְדֶּךָ אֲנִי־עַבְדְּךָ בֶּן־אֲמָתֶךָ פִּתַּחְתָּ לְמוֹסֵרָי | A-n-náh Ado-nái ki a-ní av-de-kha; a-ní av-de-kha ben a-ma-te-kha; pit-takh-tá le-mo-se-rái. | O the LORD, I am Your servant; I am Your servant, the son of Your maidservant. You have loosed my bonds. |
