Le-Da-víd. Al tit-khara‘ be-me-re-ím; al te-ka-né be-o-séi av-láh. Of David. Fret not yourself because of evildoers; be not envious of wrongdoers!
Ki ke-kha-tzír me-he-ráh yi-ma-lú; u-che-yé-rek dé-she yi-bo-lún. For they will soon fade like the grass and wither like the green herb.
Bet-akh ba-Ado-nái va-a-séh tóv; sh-kón e-rétz u-re-eéh e-mu-náh. Trust in the LORD, and do good; dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness.
Ve-hit-a-n-nág al Ado-nái; ve-yi-tén le-kha mish-a-lót lib-be-kha. Delight yourself in the LORD, and He will give you the desires of your heart.
Gól al Ado-nái dar-ke-kha; u-ve-tákh a-láv ve-hu ya-a-séh. Commit your way to the LORD; trust in Him, and He will act.
Ve-ho-tziá ka-or tzid-ke-kha; u-mish-pa-te-kha ka-tzo-ho-rá-yim. He will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday.
Dom la-Ado-nái ve-hit-kho-lél-lo; al tit-kha-rér be-matz-lí-akh dar-kó; be-ísh o-séh me-zim-mót. Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for Him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices!
Re-fé me-af ve-a-zóv khé-mah; al tit-kha-rér akh le-ha-ré-a‘. Refrain from anger, and forsake wrath! Fret not yourself; it tends only to evil.
Ki me-re-ím yi-ka-re-tún; ve-ko-véi Ado-nái hé-mah yir-she-u a-rétz. For the evildoers shall be cut off, but those who wait for the LORD shall inherit the land.
Ve-od me-at ve-ein ra-shá; ve-hit-bo-nan-tá al me-ko-mó ve-ein-e-n-nú. In just a little while, the wicked will be no more; though you look carefully at his place, he will not be there.
Va-a-na-vím yir-she-u a-rétz; ve-hit-an-ne-gú al róv sha-lóm. But the meek shall inherit the land and delight themselves in abundant peace.
Zo-mém ra-shá la-tzad-dík; ve-kho-rék a-láv shin-náv. The wicked plots against the righteous and gnashes his teeth at him.
A-do-nái yish-khak-ló; ki rá-ah ki ya-vó yo-mó. But the LORD laughs at the wicked, for He sees that his day is coming.
The wicked draw the sword and bend their bows to bring down the poor and needy, to slay those whose way is upright.
Khar-bám ta-vó ve-lib-bám; ve-kash-to-tám tish-sha-vér-nah. Their sword shall enter their own heart, and their bows shall be broken.
Tóv me-at la-tzad-dík me-ha-món re-sha-ím ra-bím. Better is the little that the righteous has than the abundance of many wicked.
Ki ze-ro-ót re-sha-ím tish-sha-vér-nah; ve-so-mékh tzad-dí-kim Ado-nái. For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, but the LORD upholds the righteous.
Yo-dé-a Ado-nái ye-méi te-mi-mím; ve-na-kha-la-tám le-o-lám tih-ye-h. The LORD knows the days of the blameless, and their heritage will remain forever.
Lo ye-vo-shú be-et ra-áh; u-vi-me-í re-a-vím yis-ba-ú. They are not put to shame in evil times; in the days of famine they have abundance.
Ki re-sha-ím yo-ve-dú; ve-oy-véi Ado-nái ki-kha-r k-karím ka-lú; ve-a-shán ka-lú. But the wicked will perish; the enemies of the LORD are like the glory of the pastures; they vanish — like smoke they vanish away.
Lo-véh ra-shá ve-lo ye-shal-lém; ve-tzad-dík kho-nén ve-no-tén. The wicked borrows but does not pay back, but the righteous is generous and gives.
Ki me-vo-ra-kháv yi-re-shú a-rétz; u-me-ku-la-láv yi-ka-re-tú. For those blessed by the LORD shall inherit the land, but those cursed by Him shall be cut off.
Me-Ado-nái mitz-a-déi gé-ver ko-ná-nu; ve-dar-kó ye-khe-pátz. The steps of a man are established by the LORD, when he delights in His way.
Ki yi-pól lo yi-t-tál; ki Ado-nái so-mékh ya-dó. Though he fall, he shall not be cast headlong, for the LORD upholds his hand.
I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken or his children begging for bread.
Kál ha-yom kho-nén u-mal-véh; ve-zar-ó liv-ra-kháh. He is ever lending generously, and his children become a blessing.
Súr me-rá va-a-séh tóv; ush-kón le-o-lám. Turn away from evil and do good; so shall you dwell forever.
For the LORD loves justice; He will not forsake His saints. They are preserved forever, but the children of the wicked shall be cut off.
Tzad-dí-kim yi-re-shú a-rétz; ve-yish-ke-nú la-aád a-le-há. The righteous shall inherit the land and dwell upon it forever.
Pi tzad-dík ye-hegéh khokh-máh; u-le-sho-nó te-dab-bér mish-pát. The mouth of the righteous utters wisdom, and his tongue speaks justice.
To-rát E-lo-h-áv be-lib-bó; lo ti-m-a‘d ash-u-ráv. The law of his God is in his heart; his steps do not slip.
Tzo-péh ra-shá la-tzad-dík; u-me-vak-késh la-ha-mi-tó. The wicked watches for the righteous and seeks to put him to death.
Ado-nái lo ya-az-ve-n-nú ve-ya-dó; ve-lo yar-shi-e-n-nú be-hi-sha-fe-tó. The LORD will not abandon him to his power or let him be condemned when he is brought to trial.
Wait for the LORD and keep His way, and He will exalt you to inherit the land; you will look on when the wicked are cut off.
Ra-í-ti ra-shá a-rítz; u-mit-a-réh ke-ez-rákh ra-a-nán. I have seen a wicked, ruthless man, spreading himself like a green laurel tree.
Va-ya-a-vór ve-hin-néh ei-né-nu; va-a-vak-she-hú ve-lo nim-tzá. But he passed away, and behold, he was no more; though I sought him, he could not be found.
Sh-mór ta-mím u-re-éh ya-shár; ki a-kha-rít le-ísh sha-lóm. Mark the blameless and behold the upright, for there is a future for the man of peace.
U-fo-she-ím nish-me-dú ya-khad; a-kha-rít re-sha-ím nikh-ra-táh. But transgressors shall be altogether destroyed; the future of the wicked shall be cut off.
U-te-shu-aát tzad-dí-kim me-Ado-nái; ma-u-zám be-et tza-ráh. The salvation of the righteous is from the LORD; He is their stronghold in the time of trouble.
The LORD helps them and delivers them; He delivers them from the wicked and saves them, because they take refuge in Him.
