| 1 | שִׁיר הַמַּעֲלוֹת אַשְׁרֵי כָּל־יְרֵא יְהוָה הַהֹלֵךְ בִּדְרָכָיו | Shír ha-ma-a-lót. Ash-réi kál ye-réi Ado-nái; ha-ho-lékh bid-ra-kháv. | A Song of Ascents. Blessed is everyone who fears the LORD, who walks in His ways! |
| 2 | יְגִיעַ כַּפֶּיךָ כִּי תֹאכֵל אַשְׁרֶיךָ וְטוֹב לָךְ | Ye-gí-a ka-pe-kha ki tokh-lé; ash-re-kha ve-tóv lákh. | You shall eat the fruit of the labor of your hands; you shall be blessed, and it shall be well with you. |
| 3 | אֶשְׁתְּךָ כְּגֶפֶן פֹּרִיָּה בְּיַרְכְּתֵי בֵיתֶךָ בָּנֶיךָ כִּשְׁתִלֵי זֵיתִים סָבִיב לְשֻׁלְחָנֶךָ | Esh-te-kha ke-gé-fen po-ri-yáh; be-yar-ké-tei véi-te-kha; ba-ne-kha ki-shti-léi za-yít; sa-vív le-shul-kha-né-kha. | Your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your house; your children will be like olive shoots around your table. |
| 4 | הִנֵּה כִי־כֵן יְבֹרַךְ גָּבֶר יְרֵא יְהוָה | Hin-néh khi-khén ye-vo-rákh gé-ver; ye-réi Ado-nái. | Behold, thus shall the man be blessed who fears the LORD. |
| 5 | יְבָרֶכְךָ יְהוָה מִצִּיּוֹן וּרְאֵה בְּטוּב יְרוּשָׁלִָם כֹּל יְמֵי חַיֶּיךָ | Ye-va-re-khe-kha Ado-nái mi-Tzi-yón; u-re-éh be-túv Ye-ru-sha-lá-yim; kól ye-méi kha-ye-kha. | The LORD bless you from Zion! May you see the prosperity of Jerusalem all the days of your life! |
