| 2 | חַלְּצֵנִי יְהוָה מֵאָדָם רָע מֵאִישׁ חֲמָסִים תִּנְצְרֵנִי | Khal-tze-ní Ado-nái me-a-dám rá; mi-ísh kha-ma-sím tin-tze-ré-ni. | Deliver me, O the LORD, from evil men; preserve me from violent men. |
| 3 | אֲשֶׁר חָשְׁבוּ רָעוֹת בְּלֵב כָּל־יוֹם יָגוּרוּ מִלְחָמוֹת | A-shér kha-sha-vú ra-ót be-lév; kál yom ya-gú-ru mil-kha-mót. | Who plan evil things in their heart and stir up wars continually. |
| 4 | שָׁנֲנוּ לְשׁוֹנָם כְּמוֹ־נָחָשׁ חֲמַת עַכְשׁוּב תַּחַת שְׂפָתֵימוֹ סֶלָה | Sha-ne-nú le-sho-nám ke-na-khásh; kha-mát ak-shúv ta-khaát sif-to-té-hem sé-lah. | They make their tongue sharp as a serpent’s, and under their lips is the venom of asps. Selah. |
| 5 | שָׁמְרֵנִי יְהוָה מִידֵי רָשָׁע מֵאִישׁ חֲמָסִים תִּנְצְרֵנִי אֲשֶׁר חָשְׁבוּ לִדְחוֹת פְּעָמָי | Sho-me-ré-ni Ado-nái mi-ye-déi ra-shá; mi-ísh kha-ma-sím tin-tze-ré-ni; a-shér kha-sha-vú lid-khót pe-a-m-ái. | Guard me, O the LORD, from the hands of the wicked; preserve me from violent men, who have planned to trip up my feet. |
| 6 | טָמְנוּ־גֵאִים פַּח לִי וַחֲבָלִים פָּרְשׂוּ רֶשֶׁת לְיַד־מַעְגָּל מֹקְשִׁים שָׁתוּ־לִי סֶלָה | Tze-nu-ni ge-ím pákh lí; va-kha-va-lím pa-re-sú re-shét le-yad ma-a-gál; mo-k-she-shím sha-tú lí sé-lah. | The arrogant have hidden a trap for me, and with cords they have spread a net; beside the way they have set snares for me. Selah. |
| 7 | אָמַרְתִּי לַיהוָה אֵלִי אָתָּה הַאֲזִינָה יְהוָה קוֹל תַּחֲנוּנָי | A-mar-tí la-Ado-nái E-lí a-t-táh; ha-a-zí-nah Ado-nái kól ta-kha-nu-n-ái. | I say to the LORD, You are my God; give ear to the voice of my pleas for mercy, O the LORD! |
| 8 | יְהֹוִה אֲדֹנָי עֹז יְשׁוּעָתִי סַכֹּתָה לְרֹאשִׁי בְּיוֹם נָשֶׁק | Ado-nái E-lo-hím oz yesh-u-a-tí; sak-kó-tah le-ro-shí be-yom né-sek. | O the LORD, my Lord, the strength of my salvation, You have covered my head in the day of battle. |
| 9 | אַל־תִּתֵּן יְהוָה מַאֲוַיֵּי רָשָׁע זְמָמוֹ אַל־תָּפֵק יָרוּמוּ סֶלָה | Al ti-tén Ado-nái ma-av-v-éi ra-shá; ze-m-mó al ta-fék ya-rú-mu sé-lah. | Grant not, O the LORD, the desires of the wicked; do not further their evil plot, or they will be exalted! Selah. |
| 10 | רֹאשׁ מְסִבָּי עֲמַל שְׂפָתֵימוֹ יכסומויכסומויְכַסֵּמוֹ | Ro’sh me-si-b-b-ái; a-mál sif-to-té-hem ye-khas-sé-mu a-le-hém. | As for the head of those who surround me, let the mischief of their lips overwhelm them! |
| 11 | ימיטוימיטויִמּוֹטוּ עֲלֵיהֶם גֶּחָלִים בָּאֵשׁ יַפִּלֵם בְּמַהֲמֹרוֹת בַּל־יָקוּמוּ | Yi-me-tú a-le-hém ge-kha-lím; ba-esh yi-pe-lú; bi-me-tzu-lót bal ya-kú-mu. | Let burning coals fall upon them! Let them be cast into fire, into miry pits, no more to rise! |
| 12 | אִישׁ לָשׁוֹן בַּל־יִכּוֹן בָּאָרֶץ אִישׁ־חָמָס רָע יְצוּדֶנּוּ לְמַדְחֵפֹת | Ish la-shón bal yi-kón ba-a-rétz; ísh kha-más ra’ ye-tzud-dé-nu le-mad-khe-fót. | Let not the slanderer be established in the land; let evil hunt down the violent man speedily! |
| 13 | ידעתידעתיָדַעְתִּי כִּי־יַעֲשֶׂה יְהוָה דִּין עָנִי מִשְׁפַּט אֶבְיֹנִים | Ya-dá‘-ti ki ya-a-séh Ado-nái dín a-ní; mish-pát ev-yo-ním. | I know that the LORD will maintain the cause of the afflicted, and will execute justice for the needy. |
| 14 | אַךְ צַדִּיקִים יוֹדוּ לִשְׁמֶךָ יֵשְׁבוּ יְשָׁרִים אֶת־פָּנֶיךָ | Akh tzad-dí-kim yo-dú li-she-me-kha; ye-sh-vú ye-sha-rím et pa-ne-kha. | Surely the righteous shall give thanks to Your name; the upright shall dwell in Your presence. |
