לַמְנַצֵּחַ מִזְמוֹר לְדָוִד |
Lamnatzeakh mizmor leDavid. |
For the leader. A psalm of David. |
| 2 |
יהוה בְּעָזְּךָ יִשְׂמַח־מֶלֶךְ וּבִישׁוּעָתְךָ מַה־יגיל מְאֹד |
Adonai be’ozzekha yismakh-melekh, u-vi-shu-a-té-kha mah yi-gél me-od. |
The king rejoices in Your strength, O Adonai; how greatly he exults in Your salvation! |

תַּאֲוַת לִבּוֹ נָתַתָּה לּוֹ וַאֲרֶשֶׁת שְׂפָתָיו בַּל־מָנַעְתָּ סֶלָה |
Ta-a-vát lib-bó na-tát-ta lo; va-a-ré-shet se-fa-táv bal ma-ná'ta sé-lah. |
You have granted him his heart’s desire and have not withheld the request of his lips. Selah. |

כִּי־תְקַדְּמֶנּוּ בִּרְכוֹת טוֹב תָּשִׁית לְרֹאשׁוֹ עֲטֶרֶת פָּז |
Ki te-kad-de-mén-nu bir-khót tóv; ta-shít le-ro-shó a-té-ret paz. |
For You go before him with blessings of goodness; You set a crown of fine gold upon his head. |

חַיִּים שָׁאַל מִמְּךָ נָתַתָּה לּוֹ אֹרֶךְ יָמִים עוֹלָם וָעֶד |
Kha-yím sha-al mim-mé-kha; na-tát-ta lo o-rékh ya-mím o-lám va-éd. |
He asked life of You; You gave it to him, length of days forever and ever. |

גָּדוֹל כְּבוֹדוֹ בִּישׁוּעָתֶךָ הוֹד וְהָדָר תְּשַׁוֶּה עָלָיו |
Ga-dól ke-vo-dó bish-u-a-te-kha; hod ve-ha-dár te-sha-vét a-láv. |
His glory is great through Your salvation; splendor and majesty You bestow on him. |

כִּי־תְשִׁיתֵהוּ בְרָכוֹת לָעַד תְּחַדֵּהוּ בְשִׂמְחָה אֶת־פָּנֶיךָ |
Ki te-shi-té-hu be-ra-khót la-’ad; te-kha-de-hú ve-sim-kháh et pa-ne-kha. |
For You make him most blessed forever; You make him glad with the joy of Your presence. |

כִּי־הַמֶּלֶךְ בֹּטֵחַ בַּיהוה וּבְחֶסֶד עֶלְיוֹן בַּל־יִמּוֹט |
Ki ha-mé-lekh bo-té-akh ba-Adonai; u-ve-khé-sed el-yón bal yim-mót. |
For the king trusts in Adonai, and through the steadfast love of the Most High he shall not be moved. |

תִּמְצָא יָדְךָ לְכָל־אֹיְבֶיךָ יְמִינְךָ תִּמְצָא שֹׂנְאֶיךָ |
Ti-m-tzá ya-de-kha le-khál oy-ve-kha; ye-mi-ne-kha tim-tzá son-e-kha. |
Your hand will find out all your enemies; your right hand will find out those who hate you. |
| 10 |
תְּשִׁיתֵמוֹ כְּתַנּוּר אֵשׁ לְעֵת פָּנֶיךָ יהוה בְּאַפּוֹ יְבַלְּעֵם וְתֹאכְלֵם אֵשׁ |
Ta-si-mém ke-tan-núr ésh le-et pa-ne-kha; Adonai be-ap-pó ye-val-le-mém; ve-tókhe-lém ésh. |
You will make them as a blazing oven when you appear. Adonai will swallow them up in His wrath, and fire will consume them. |

פִּרְיָמוֹ מֵאֶרֶץ תְּאַבֵּד וְזַרְעָם מִבְּנֵי אָדָם |
Pir-yám me-e-rétz te-ab-béd; ve-zar-ám mi-be-néi a-dám. |
You will destroy their descendants from the earth, and their offspring from among the children of man. |
| 12 |
כִּי־נָטוּ עָלֶיךָ רָעָה חָשְׁבוּ מְזִמָּה בַּל־יוּכָלוּ |
Ki na-tú-u a-le-kha ra-áh; kha-she-vú me-zim-máh bal yu-khá-lu. |
Though they plan evil against you, though they devise mischief, they will not succeed. |
| 13 |
כִּי תְשִׁיתֵם שֶׁכֶם בְּמֵיתָרֶיךָ תְּכוֹנֵן עַל־פְּנֵיהֶם |
Ki te-shi-tém shé-khem; be-mi-te-re-kha te-khó-nen al pe-ne-hém. |
For You will put them to flight; You will aim at their faces with Your bows. |
| 14 |
רוּמָה יהוה בְּעֻזֶּךָ נָשִׁירָה וּנְזַמְּרָה גְּבוּרָתֶךָ |
Rú-mah Adonai be-u-ze-kha; na-shí-rah va-ne-zam-me-ráh ge-vu-ra-te-kha. |
Be exalted, O Adonai, in Your strength! We will sing and praise Your power. |
