| 1 | לְדָוִד אֵלֶיךָ יְהוָה אֶקְרָא צוּרִי אַל־תֶּחֱרַשׁ מִמֶּנִּי פֶּן־תֶּחֱרַשׁ מִמֶּנִּי וְנִמְשַׁלְתִּי עִם־יוֹרְדֵי בוֹר | LeDavid. Eilekha Adonai ekra; tzuri, al teḥerash mimmeni; pen teḥerash mimmeni venimshalti ‘im yordei vor. | Of David. To You, Adonai, I call; my Rock, do not be silent toward me, lest if You are silent toward me I become like those who descend into the pit. |
| 2 | שְׁמַע קוֹל תַּחֲנוּנַי בְּשַׁוְּעִי אֵלֶיךָ בְּנָשְׂאִי יָדַי אֶל־דְּבִיר קָדְשֶׁךָ | Shema‘ kol taḥanunai beshavve‘i eilekha; benas’i yadai el devir kodshekha. | Hear the voice of my supplications when I cry to You, when I lift my hands toward Your holy sanctuary. |
| 3 | אַל־תִּמְשְׁכֵנִי עִם־רְשָׁעִים וְעִם־פֹּעֲלֵי אָוֶן דֹּבְרֵי שָׁלוֹם עִם־רֵעֵיהֶם וְרָעָה בִּלְבָבָם | Al timshekheni ‘im resha‘im ve‘im po‘alei aven; doverei shalom ‘im re‘eihem, vera‘ah bilvavam. | Do not draw me away with the wicked and with workers of iniquity, who speak peace with their neighbors while evil is in their hearts. |
| 4 | תֶּן־לָהֶם כְּפָעֳלָם וּכְרֹעַ מַעַלְלֵיהֶם כְּמַעֲשֵׂה יְדֵיהֶם תֵּן לָהֶם הָשֵׁב גְּמוּלָם לָהֶם | Ten lahem kef‘olam ukhero‘a ma‘alleleihem; kema‘aseh yedeihem ten lahem; hashev gemulam lahem. | Give them according to their deeds and according to the evil of their actions; give them according to the work of their hands; return their recompense to them. |
| 5 | כִּי לֹא יָבִינוּ אֶל־פְּעֻלֹּת יְהוָה וְאֶל־מַעֲשֵׂה יָדָיו יֶהֶרְסֵם וְלֹא יִבְנֵם | Ki lo yavinu el pe‘ullot Adonai ve’el ma‘aseh yadav; yehersem velo yivnem. | Because they do not understand the works of Adonai or the work of His hands, He will tear them down and not build them up. |
| 6 | בָּרוּךְ יְהוָה כִּי־שָׁמַע קוֹל תַּחֲנוּנָי | Barukh Adonai, ki shama‘ kol taḥanunai. | Blessed is Adonai, for He has heard the voice of my supplications. |
| 7 | יְהוָה עֻזִּי וּמָגִנִּי בּוֹ בָטַח לִבִּי וְנֶעֱזָרְתִּי וַיַּעֲלֹז לִבִּי וּמִשִּׁירִי אֲהוֹדֶנּוּ | Adonai ‘uzzi umagini; bo vataḥ libbi vene‘ezarti; vaya‘aloz libbi, umishiri ahodennu. | Adonai is my strength and my shield; in Him my heart trusted, and I was helped. My heart exults, and with my song I will thank Him. |
| 8 | יְהוָה עֹז־לָמוֹ וּמָעוֹז יְשׁוּעוֹת מְשִׁיחוֹ הוּא | Adonai ‘oz lamo; uma‘oz yeshu‘ot meshikho hu. | Adonai is strength for them, and He is the stronghold of salvation for His anointed. |
| 9 | הוֹשִׁיעָה אֶת־עַמֶּךָ וּבָרֵךְ אֶת־נַחֲלָתֶךָ וּרְעֵם וְנַשְּׂאֵם עַד־הָעוֹלָם | Hoshi‘ah et ‘ammekha uvarekh et naḥalatekha; ure‘em venasse’em ‘ad ha‘olam. | Save Your people and bless Your inheritance; shepherd them and carry them forever. |
