מִזְמוֹר לְדָוִד בְּבָרְחוֹ מִפְּנֵי אַבְשָׁלוֹם בְּנוֹ |
Mizmor leDavid, bevarekhó mipené Avshalom benó. |
A psalm of David, when he fled from Absalom his son. |

יהוה מָה־רַבּוּ צָרָי רַבִּים קָמִים עָלָי |
Adonai, mah-rabú tzarai; rabim kamim alai. |
O Adonai, how many are my foes; many rise up against me. |

רַבִּים אֹמְרִים לְנַפְשִׁי אֵין יְשׁוּעָתָה לּוֹ בֵאלֹהִים סֶלָה |
Rabim omerim lenafshé: ein yeshuatah lo velo-him, selah. |
Many say of my soul: there is no salvation for him in Adonai. Selah. |

וְאַתָּה יהוה מָגֵן בַּעֲדִי כְּבוֹדִי וּמֵרִים רֹאשִׁי |
Veatah Adonai, magen baadí; kevodí umerim roshí. |
But You, O Adonai, are a shield around me, my glory, and the One who lifts up my head. |

קוֹלִי אֶל־יהוה אֶקְרָא וַיַּעֲנֵנִי מֵהַר קָדְשׁוֹ סֶלָה |
Kolí el-Adonai ekrá; vaya’anení mehar kodshó, selah. |
With my voice I call to Adonai, and He answers me from His holy mountain. Selah. |

אֲנִי שָׁכַבְתִּי וָאִישָׁנָה הֱקִיצוֹתִי כִּי יהוה יִסְמְכֵנִי |
Aní shakhavti vaishanah; hekitztí ki Adonai yismekhení. |
I lay down and slept; I awoke, for Adonai sustains me. |

לֹא־אִירָא מֵרִבְבוֹת עָם אֲשֶׁר סָבִיב שָׁתוּ עָלָי |
Lo-irá merivevot am asher saviv shatú alai. |
I will not fear the myriads of people who have set themselves against me all around. |

קוּמָה יהוה הוֹשִׁיעֵנִי אֱלֹהַי כִּי־הִכִּיתָ אֶת־כָּל־אֹיְבַי לֶחִי שִׁנֵּי רְשָׁעִים שִׁבָּרְתָ |
Kumah Adonai, hoshi’ení Elohai; ki-hikita et-kol-oyevai lekhí, shiné resha’im shibarta. |
Arise, O Adonai; save me, O my God; for You strike all my enemies on the cheek; You break the teeth of the wicked. |

לַיהוה הַיְשׁוּעָה עַל־עַמְּךָ בִרְכָתֶךָ סֶלָה |
LaAdonai hayeshuah; al-amekhá virkhatekha, selah. |
Salvation belongs to Adonai; Your blessing be upon Your people. Selah. |
