| Blessed is the person to whom Adonai does not count iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no deceit.
Ki heḥerashti, balu ‘atzamai; besha’agati kol hayom. | When I kept silent, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long.
Selah. | For day and night Your hand was heavy upon me; my vitality was turned as by the droughts of summer. Selah.
Selah. | I made my sin known to You, and I did not cover my iniquity. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to Adonai,” and You forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah.
| Therefore let every faithful one pray to You at a time when You may be found; surely when great waters overflow, they shall not reach him.
Selah. | You are my hiding place; You preserve me from distress; You surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah.

| Many are the pains of the wicked, but kindness surrounds the one who trusts in Adonai.
| Rejoice in Adonai and be glad, O righteous ones; sing joyfully, all you upright in heart.
