| 1 | לַמְנַצֵּחַ אַל־תַּשְׁחֵת לְדָוִד מִכְתָּם בִּשְׁלֹחַ שָׁאוּל וַיִּשְׁמְרוּ אֶת־הַבַּיִת לַהֲמִיתוֹ | La-me-nat-tsé-akh al tash-khét le-Da-víd mikh-tám be-shlo-akh Sha-úl va-yish-me-rú et ha-bá-yit la-ha-mi-tó. | To the Chief Musician. Al-tashcheth. A Miktam of David, when Saul sent men to watch his house in order to kill him. |
| 2 | הַצִּילֵנִי מֵאֹיְבַי אֱלֹהָי מִּמִתְקוֹמְמַי תְּשַׂגְּבֵנִי | Hatz-tzi-lé-ni me-oy-vái E-lo-hái; mi-mit-ko-me-mái te-sag-ge-vé-ni. | Deliver me from my enemies, O my God; protect me from those who rise against me. |

| 4 | כִּי הִנֵּה אָרְבוּ לְנַפְשִׁי יָגוּרוּ עָלַי עַזִים לֹא־פִשְׁעִי וְלֹא־חַטָּאתִי יְהוָה | Ki hin-néh a-r-e-vú le-naf-shí; ya-gú-ru a-lái a-zí-im; lo fis-shí ve-lo khat-ta-tí Ado-nái. | For behold, they lie in wait for my life; fierce men stir up strife against me. For no transgression or sin of mine, O the LORD. |
| 5 | בְּלִי־עָוֺן יְרוּצוּן וְיִכּוֹנָנוּ עוּרָה לִקְרָאתִי וּרְאֵה | Be-li a-vón ye-ru-tzún ve-yikh-ko-ná-nu; ú-rah lik-ra-tí u-re-éh. | For no fault of mine, they run and make ready. Awake, come to meet me, and see! |
| 6 | וְאַתָּה יְהוָה־אֱלֹהִים צְבָאוֹת אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל הָקִיצָה לִפְקֹד כָּל־הַגּוֹיִם אַל־תָּחֹן כָּל־בֹּגְדֵי אָוֶן סֶלָה | Ve-at-táh Ado-nái E-lo-hím tze-va-ót E-lo-héi Yis-ra-él; ha-kí-tzah li-fokód kál ha-go-yím; al ta-khón kál bo-ge-déi a-vén. Sé-lah. | You, LORD God of hosts, are God of Israel. Rouse Yourself to punish all the nations; spare none of those who treacherously plot evil. Selah. |

| 8 | הִנֵּה יַבִּיעוּן בְּפִיהֶם חֲרָבוֹת בְּשִׂפְתוֹתֵיהֶם כִּי־מִי שֹׁמֵעַ | Hin-néh ya-bí-un be-fí-hem; kha-ra-bót be-sif-to-té-hem; ki mi sho-mé-a. | There they are, bellowing with their mouths with swords in their lips — for ‘Who will hear us?’ |
| 9 | וְאַתָּה יְהוָה תִּשְׂחַק־לָמוֹ תִּלְעַג לְכָל־גּוֹיִם | Ve-at-táh Ado-nái tis-khaák la-m-o; til-ag le-khál go-yím. | But You, O the LORD, laugh at them; You hold all the nations in derision. |
| 10 | עֻזּוֹ אֵלֶיךָ אֶשְׁמֹרָה כִּי־אֱלֹהִים מִשְׂגַּבִּי | U-zo e-lé-kha esh-mó-rah; ki E-lo-hím mis-g-ab-bí. | O my Strength, I will watch for You, for You, O God, are my fortress. |
| 11 | אֱלֹהֵי חסדוחסדוחַסְדִּי יְקַדְּמֵנִי אֱלֹהִים יַרְאֵנִי בְשֹׁרְרָי | E-lo-héi khas-dí ye-kad-dém-ni; E-lo-hím yar-e-é-ni ve-shor-rái. | My God in His steadfast love will meet me; God will let me look in triumph on my enemies. |
| 12 | אַל־תַּהַרְגֵם פֶּן־יִשְׁכְּחוּ עַמִּי הֲנִיעֵמוֹ בְחֵילְךָ וְהוֹרִידֵמוֹ מָגִנֵּנוּ אֲדֹנָי | Al ta-ha-r-gém pen yish-ke-khú am-mí; ha-ni-eé-mo be-khei-le-khá ve-ho-ri-dém ma-gi-né-nu Ado-nái. | Kill them not, lest my people forget; make them totter by Your power and bring them down, O Lord, our shield! |
| 13 | חַטַּאת־פִּימוֹ דְּבַר־שְׂפָתֵימוֹ וְיִלָּכְדוּ בִגְאוֹנָם וּמֵאָלָה וּמִכַּחַשׁ יְסַפֵּרוּ | Kha-taát pi-mo de-var se-fa-té-mo; ve-yil-la-ke-dú bi-ge-o-nám; u-me-al-láh u-me-kha-zév ye-sap-pe-rú. | For the sin of their mouths, the words of their lips, let them be trapped in their pride. For the cursing and lies that they utter. |
| 14 | כַּלֵּה בְחֵמָה כַּלֵּה וְאֵינֵמוֹ וְיֵדְעוּ כִּי־אֱלֹהִים מֹשֵׁל בְּיַעֲקֹב לְאַפְסֵי הָאָרֶץ סֶלָה | Kal-léh be-kha-máh kal-léh ve-ein-é-mo; ve-ye-de-ú ki E-lo-hím mo-shél be-Ya-a-kóv le-af-séi ha-á-rets. Sé-lah. | Consume them in wrath; consume them, and they shall be no more; and they shall know that God rules over Jacob to the ends of the earth. Selah. |

| 17 | וַאֲנִי אָשִׁיר עֻזֶּךָ וַאֲרַנֵּן לַבֹּקֶר חַסְדֶּךָ כִּי־הָיִיתָ מִשְׂגָּב לִי וּמָנוֹס בְּיוֹם צַר־לִי | Va-a-ní a-shír u-ze-khá; va-a-ran-nén la-bó-ker khas-de-khá; ki ha-yí-ta mis-gáv lí; u-ma-nós be-yom tza-r-lí. | But I will sing of Your strength; I will sing aloud of Your steadfast love in the morning. For You have been to me a fortress and a refuge in the day of my distress. |
| 18 | עֻזִּי אֵלֶיךָ אֲזַמֵּרָה כִּי־אֱלֹהִים מִשְׂגַּבִּי אֱלֹהֵי חַסְדִּי | U-ze-khí e-lé-kha a-zam-mé-rah; ki E-lo-hím mis-ga-b-bí; E-lo-héi khas-dí. | O my Strength, I will sing praises to You, for You, O God, are my fortress, the God who shows me steadfast love. |
