| 1 | לַמְנַצֵּחַ אַל־תַּשְׁחֵת לְדָוִד מִכְתָּם | La-me-nat-tsé-akh al tash-khét le-Da-víd mikh-tám. | To the Chief Musician. Al-tashcheth. A Miktam of David. |
| 2 | הַאֻמְנָם אֵלֶם צֶדֶק תְּדַבֵּרוּן מֵישָׁרִים תִּשְׁפְּטוּ בְּנֵי אָדָם | Ha-u-m-nám e-lém tze-dék te-dab-be-rún; me-sha-rím tish-pe-tú be-néi a-dám. | Do you indeed decree what is right, you gods? Do you judge the children of man uprightly? |
| 3 | אַף־בְּלֵב עוֹלֹת תִּפְעָלוּן בָּאָרֶץ חֲמַס יְדֵיכֶם תְּפַלֵּסוּן | Af be-lév a-v-lót tif-a-lún; ba-á-rets kha-más ye-de-khém te-fal-lé-sun. | No, in your hearts you devise wrongs; your hands deal out violence on earth. |
| 4 | זֹרוּ רְשָׁעִים מֵרָחֶם תָּעוּ מִבֶּטֶן דֹּבְרֵי כָזָב | Zó-ru re-sha-ím me-rá-khem; ta-ú mi-bé-ten do-ve-réi kha-záv. | The wicked are estranged from the womb; they go astray from birth, speaking lies. |
| 5 | חֲמַת־לָמוֹ כִּדְמוּת חֲמַת־נָחָשׁ כְּמוֹ־פֶתֶן חֵרֵשׁ יַאְטֵם אָזְנוֹ | Kha-mat lá-mo kid-mút kha-mát na-khásh; ke-mo pé-ten kherésh ye-atém oz-nó. | They have venom like the venom of a serpent, like the deaf adder that stops its ear. |
| 6 | אֲשֶׁר לֹא־יִשְׁמַע לְקוֹל מְלַחֲשִׁים חוֹבֵר חֲבָרִים מְחֻכָּם | A-shér lo yish-máa le-kól me-lakh-shím; kho-vér kha-va-rím me-khu-k-kám. | So that it does not hear the voice of charmers or of the cunning enchanter. |
| 7 | אֱלֹהִים הֲרָס־שִׁנֵּימוֹ בְּפִימוֹ מַלְתְּעוֹת כְּפִירִים נְתֹץ יְהוָה | E-lo-hím ha-rós shi-n-né-mo be-fí-mo; mal-te-oót ke-firím nitz-tzé-tzem Ado-nái. | O God, break the teeth in their mouths; tear out the fangs of the young lions, O the LORD! |
| 8 | יִמָּאֲסוּ כְמוֹ־מַיִם יִתְהַלְּכוּ־לָמוֹ יִדְרֹךְ חצוחצוחִצָּיו כְּמוֹ יִתְמֹלָלוּ | Yim-a-sú ke-ma-yim yit-hal-le-khú-lam-o; ye-dó-rekh khitz-tza-v le-mo yim-a-lá-lu. | Let them vanish like water that runs away; when he aims his arrows, let them be blunted. |
| 9 | כְּמוֹ שַׁבְּלוּל תֶּמֶס יַהֲלֹךְ נֵפֶל אֵשֶׁת בַּל־חָזוּ שָׁמֶשׁ | Ke-mo shab-lúl ta-més ya-halókh; né-fel e-shét bal kha-zú shé-mesh. | Like the snail that dissolves into slime, like the stillborn child who never sees the sun. |
| 10 | בְּטֶרֶם יָבִינוּ סִּירֹתֵיכֶם אָטָד כְּמוֹ־חַי כְּמוֹ־חָרוֹן יִשְׂעָרֶנּוּ | Be-té-rem ya-ví-nu si-ro-té-khem a-tád; ke-mo khaéi ke-mo kha-rón yis-a-ré-nu. | Sooner than your pots can feel the heat of thorns, whether green or ablaze, may He sweep them away! |
| 11 | יִשְׂמַח צַדִּיק כִּי־חָזָה נָקָם פְּעָמָיו יִרְחַץ בְּדַם הָרָשָׁע | Yis-mákh tzad-dík ki kha-záh nakám; pa-a-máv yir-khaátz be-dám ha-ra-shá. | The righteous will rejoice when he sees the vengeance; he will bathe his feet in the blood of the wicked. |
| 12 | וְיֹאמַר אָדָם אַךְ־פְּרִי לַצַּדִּיק אַךְ יֵשׁ־אֱלֹהִים שֹׁפְטִים בָּאָרֶץ | Ve-yo-mar a-dám akh pe-ri la-tzad-dík; akh yésh E-lo-hím shof-tím ba-á-rets. | Mankind will say, ‘Surely there is a reward for the righteous; surely there is a God who judges on earth.’ |
