| 2 | אֱלֹהַי בְּךָ בָטַחְתִּי אַל־אֵבוֹשָׁה אַל־יַעַלְצוּ אֹיְבַי לִי | Elohai, bekha vatakhti; al evoshah; al ya‘altzu oyvai li. | My God, in You I trust; let me not be put to shame; let not my enemies exult over me. |
| 3 | גַּם כָּל־קֹוֶיךָ לֹא יֵבֹשׁוּ יֵבֹשׁוּ הַבּוֹגְדִים רֵיקָם | Gam kol koveikha lo yevoshu; yevoshu habogedim reikam. | Indeed, none who wait for You shall be put to shame; those who betray without cause shall be ashamed. |
| 4 | דְּרָכֶיךָ יְהוָה הוֹדִיעֵנִי אֹרְחוֹתֶיךָ לַמְּדֵנִי | Derakhekha Adonai hodi‘eni; orkhotekha lammedeni. | Make Your ways known to me, Adonai; teach me Your paths. |
| 5 | הַדְרִיכֵנִי בַאֲמִתֶּךָ וְלַמְּדֵנִי כִּי־אַתָּה אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׁעִי אוֹתְךָ קִוִּיתִי כָּל־הַיּוֹם | Hadrikheni va’amittekha velammedeni; ki attah Elohei yish‘i; otekha kivviti kol hayom. | Lead me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; for You I wait all day long. |
| 6 | זְכֹר־רַחֲמֶיךָ יְהוָה וַחֲסָדֶיךָ כִּי מֵעוֹלָם הֵמָּה | Zekhor rakḥamekha Adonai vaḥasadekha; ki me‘olam hemmah. | Remember Your mercies, Adonai, and Your kindnesses, for they are from of old. |
| 7 | חַטֹּאות נְעוּרַי וּפְשָׁעַי אַל־תִּזְכֹּר כְּחַסְדְּךָ זְכָר־לִי־אַתָּה לְמַעַן טוּבְךָ יְהוָה | Ḥatto’ot ne‘urai ufesha‘ai al tizkor; keḥasdekha zekhar li attah, lema‘an tuvkha Adonai. | Remember not the sins of my youth or my transgressions; according to Your kindness remember me, for the sake of Your goodness, Adonai. |
| 8 | טוֹב־וְיָשָׁר יְהוָה עַל־כֵּן יוֹרֶה חַטָּאִים בַּדָּרֶךְ | Tov veyashar Adonai; al ken yoreh ḥatta’im badarekh. | Good and upright is Adonai; therefore He instructs sinners in the way. |
| 9 | יַדְרֵךְ עֲנָוִים בַּמִּשְׁפָּט וִילַמֵּד עֲנָוִים דַּרְכּוֹ | Yadrekh ‘anavim bamishpat; vilammed ‘anavim darko. | He leads the humble in justice and teaches the humble His way. |
| 10 | כָּל־אָרְחוֹת יְהוָה חֶסֶד וֶאֱמֶת לְנֹצְרֵי בְרִיתוֹ וְעֵדֹתָיו | Kol orkhot Adonai ḥesed ve’emet, lenotzerei verito ve‘edotav. | All the paths of Adonai are kindness and truth for those who keep His covenant and His testimonies. |
| 11 | לְמַעַן־שִׁמְךָ יְהוָה וְסָלַחְתָּ לַעֲוֹנִי כִּי רַב־הוּא | Lema‘an shimkha Adonai, vesalaḥta la‘avoni, ki rav hu. | For Your name’s sake, Adonai, pardon my iniquity, for it is great. |
| 12 | מִי־זֶה הָאִישׁ יְרֵא יְהוָה יוֹרֶנּוּ בְּדֶרֶךְ יִבְחָר | Mi zeh ha’ish yere Adonai? Yorennu bederekh yivḥar. | Who is the man who fears Adonai? He will instruct him in the way he should choose. |
| 13 | נַפְשׁוֹ בְּטוֹב תָּלִין וְזַרְעוֹ יִירַשׁ אָרֶץ | Nafsho betov talin; vezar‘o yirash aretz. | His soul shall dwell in goodness, and his offspring shall inherit the land. |
| 14 | סוֹד יְהוָה לִירֵאָיו וּבְרִיתוֹ לְהוֹדִיעָם | Sod Adonai lire’av; uverito lehodi‘am. | The secret counsel of Adonai is for those who fear Him, and His covenant is made known to them. |
| 15 | עֵינַי תָּמִיד אֶל־יְהוָה כִּי הוּא־יוֹצִיא מֵרֶשֶׁת רַגְלָי | ‘Einai tamid el Adonai, ki hu yotzi mereshet raglai. | My eyes are always toward Adonai, for He will bring my feet out of the net. |
| 16 | פְּנֵה־אֵלַי וְחָנֵּנִי כִּי־יָחִיד וְעָנִי אָנִי | Peneh elai veḥonneni, ki yaḥid ve‘ani ani. | Turn toward me and be gracious to me, for I am lonely and afflicted. |
| 17 | צָרוֹת לְבָבִי הִרְחִיבוּ מִמְּצוּקוֹתַי הוֹצִיאֵנִי | Tzarot levavi hirḥivu; mimmetzukotai hotzi’eni. | The troubles of my heart have enlarged; bring me out of my distresses. |
| 18 | רְאֵה עָנְיִי וַעֲמָלִי וְשָׂא לְכָל־חַטֹּאותָי | Re’eh ‘onyi va‘amali, vesa lekhol ḥatto’otai. | See my affliction and my trouble, and forgive all my sins. |
| 19 | רְאֵה־אֹיְבַי כִּי־רָבּוּ וְשִׂנְאַת חָמָס שְׂנֵאוּנִי | Re’eh oyvai ki rabbu; vesin’at ḥamas sene’uni. | See how many are my enemies, and with violent hatred they hate me. |
| 20 | שָׁמְרָה נַפְשִׁי וְהַצִּילֵנִי אַל־אֵבוֹשׁ כִּי־חָסִיתִי בָךְ | Shomrah nafshi vehatzileni; al evosh, ki ḥasiti vakh. | Guard my soul and deliver me; let me not be put to shame, for I have taken refuge in You. |
| 21 | תֹּם־וָיֹשֶׁר יִצְּרוּנִי כִּי קִוִּיתִיךָ | Tom vayosher yitzruni, ki kivvitikha. | May integrity and uprightness preserve me, for I wait for You. |
| 22 | פְּדֵה אֱלֹהִים אֶת־יִשְׂרָאֵל מִכֹּל צָרוֹתָיו | Pedeh Elohim et Yisrael mikol tzarotav. | Redeem Israel, O God, from all his troubles. |
