| 1 | לְדָוִד שָׁפְטֵנִי יְהוָה כִּי־אֲנִי בְּתֻמִּי הָלַכְתִּי וּבַיהוָה בָּטַחְתִּי לֹא אֶמְעָד | LeDavid. Shofeteni Adonai, ki ani betummi halakhti; uva-Adonai bataḥti, lo em‘ad. | Of David. Vindicate me, Adonai, for I have walked in my integrity, and in Adonai I have trusted; I shall not waver. |
| 2 | בְּחָנֵנִי יְהוָה וְנַסֵּנִי צָרְפָה כִלְיוֹתַי וְלִבִּי | Beḥaneni Adonai venasseni; tzarfa khilyotai velibbi. | Examine me, Adonai, and test me; refine my innermost thoughts and my heart. |

| 6 | אֶרְחַץ בְּנִקָּיוֹן כַּפָּי וַאֲסֹבְבָה אֶת־מִזְבַּחֲךָ יְהוָה | Erḥatz benikkayon kappai; va’asovevah et mizbaḥakha Adonai. | I wash my hands in innocence and circle Your altar, Adonai. |
| 7 | לַשְׁמִעַ בְּקוֹל תּוֹדָה וּלְסַפֵּר כָּל־נִפְלְאוֹתֶיךָ | Lashmi‘a bekol todah; ulesapper kol nifla’otekha. | To proclaim thanksgiving aloud and to tell of all Your wonders. |
| 8 | יְהוָה אָהַבְתִּי מְעוֹן בֵּיתֶךָ וּמְקוֹם מִשְׁכַּן כְּבוֹדֶךָ | Adonai, ahavti me‘on beitekha; umekom mishkan kevodekha. | Adonai, I love the dwelling place of Your house and the place where Your glory resides. |
| 9 | אַל־תֶּאֱסֹף עִם־חַטָּאִים נַפְשִׁי וְעִם־אַנְשֵׁי דָמִים חַיָּי | Al te’esof ‘im ḥatta’im nafshi; ve‘im anshei damim ḥayyai. | Do not gather my soul with sinners, nor my life with men of bloodshed. |
| 10 | אֲשֶׁר־בִּידֵיהֶם זִמָּה וִימִינָם מָלְאָה שֹׁחַד | Asher bideihem zimmah; viminam male’ah shoḥad. | In whose hands are wicked schemes, and whose right hand is full of bribes. |
| 11 | וַאֲנִי בְּתֻמִּי אֵלֵךְ פְּדֵנִי וְחָנֵּנִי | Va’ani betummi elekh; pedeni veḥonneni. | But as for me, I will walk in my integrity; redeem me and be gracious to me. |
| 12 | רַגְלִי עָמְדָה בְמִישׁוֹר בְּמַקְהֵלִים אֲבָרֵךְ יְהוָה | Ragli ‘amdah vemishor; bemakhelim avarekh Adonai. | My foot stands on level ground; in the assemblies I will bless Adonai. |
