| 2 | הַרְנִינוּ לֵאלֹהִים עוּזֵּנוּ הָרִיעוּ לֵאלֹהֵי יַעֲקֹב | Ha-rneú-nu le-E-lo-hím u-ze-nú; ha-rí-u le-E-lo-héi Ya-a-kóv. | Sing aloud to God our strength; shout for joy to the God of Jacob! |
| 3 | שְׂאוּ־זִמְרָה וּתְנוּ־תֹף כִּנּוֹר נָעִים עִם־נָבֶל | Se-ú zim-ráh u-te-nú-tof; kin-nór na-ím im né-vel. | Raise a song; sound the tambourine, the sweet lyre with the harp. |
| 4 | תִּקְעוּ בַחֹדֶשׁ שׁוֹפָר בַּכֵּסֶה לְיוֹם חַגֵּנוּ | Tik-e-ú ba-khó-desh sho-fár; ba-ké-seh le-yom kha-ge-nú. | Blow the trumpet at the new moon, at the full moon, on our feast day. |
| 5 | כִּי חֹק לְיִשְׂרָאֵל הוּא מִשְׁפָּט לֵאלֹהֵי יַעֲקֹב | Ki khók le-Yis-ra-él hu; mish-pát le-E-lo-héi Ya-a-kóv. | For it is a statute for Israel, a rule of the God of Jacob. |
| 6 | עֵדוּת בִּיהוֹסֵף שָׂמוֹ בְּצֵאתוֹ עַל־אֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם שְׂפַת לֹא־יָדַעְתִּי אֶשְׁמָע | E-dút bi-Ye-ho-séf sa-mó; be-tze-tó al e-rétz Mitz-ra-yím; sa-fát lo yad-a-tí esh-má. | He made it a decree in Joseph when he went out over the land of Egypt. I hear a language I had not known: |
| 7 | הֲסִירוֹתִי מִסֵּבֶל שִׁכְמוֹ כַּפָּיו מִדּוּד תַּעֲבֹרְנָה | He-si-ró-ti mi-sé-vel shikh-mó; ka-p-páv mi-dúd ta-a-vór-nah. | ‘I relieved your shoulder of the burden; your hands were freed from the basket. |
| 8 | בַּצָּרָה קָרָאתָ וָאֲחַלְּצֶךָּ אֶעֶנְךָ בְּסֵתֶר רַעַם אֶבְחָנְךָ עַל־מֵי מְרִיבָה סֶלָה | Ba-tza-ráh ka-rá-ta va-a-kha-le-tzé-ka; e-en-kha ba-sé-ter ra-ám a-a-ne-kha; ev-kha-ne-kha al méi me-ri-váh. Sé-lah. | In distress you called, and I delivered you; I answered you in the secret place of thunder; I tested you at the waters of Meribah. Selah. |
| 9 | שְׁמַע עַמִּי וְאָעִידָה בָּךְ יִשְׂרָאֵל אִם־תִּשְׁמַע־לִי | Shim-áh am-mí ve-a-í-dah bákh; Yis-ra-él im tish-ma-áh lí. | Hear, O My people, while I admonish you! O Israel, if you would but listen to Me! |
| 10 | לֹא־יִהְיֶה בְךָ אֵל זָר וְלֹא תִשְׁתַּחֲוֶה לְאֵל נֵכָר | Lo yi-he-yéh ve-khá El zár; ve-lo tish-ta-khavé le-El né-khar. | There shall be no strange god among you; you shall not bow down to a foreign god. |
| 11 | אָנֹכִי יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ הַמַּעַלְךָ מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם הַרְחֶב־פִּיךָ וַאֲמַלְאֵהוּ | A-nó-khi Ado-nái E-lo-hé-kha ha-ma-al-khá-kha me-é-rets Mitz-ra-yím; har-khév pi-kha va-a-ma-le-e-hú. | I am the LORD your God, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt. Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it. |
| 12 | וְלֹא־שָׁמַע עַמִּי לְקוֹלִי וְיִשְׂרָאֵל לֹא־אָבָה לִי | Ve-lo sha-má‘ am-mí le-ko-lí; ve-Yis-ra-él lo aváh lí. | But My people did not listen to My voice; Israel would not submit to Me. |
| 13 | וָאֲשַׁלְּחֵהוּ בִּשְׁרִירוּת לִבָּם יֵלְכוּ בְּמוֹעֲצוֹתֵיהֶם | Va-a-sha-le-khé-hu be-she-ri-rút li-bám; ye-le-khú be-mo-a-tzó-te-hem. | So I gave them over to their stubborn hearts, to follow their own counsels. |
| 14 | לוּ עַמִּי שֹׁמֵעַ לִי יִשְׂרָאֵל בִּדְרָכַי יְהַלֵּכוּ | Lu am-mí sho-mé-a lí; Yis-ra-él bid-ra-khái ye-ha-lé-khun. | Oh, that My people would listen to Me, that Israel would walk in My ways! |
| 15 | כִּמְעַט אוֹיְבֵיהֶם אַכְנִיעַ וְעַל צָרֵיהֶם אָשִׁיב יָדִי | Kim-át oy-ve-hém akh-ni-á‘; ve-al tza-re-hém a-shív ya-dí. | I would soon subdue their enemies and turn My hand against their foes. |
| 16 | מְשַׂנְאֵי יְהוָה יְכַחֲשׁוּ־לוֹ וִיהִי עִתָּם לְעוֹלָם | Me-san-e-éi Ado-nái ye-kha-kha-shú-lo; vi-ye-hí it-tám le-o-lám. | Those who hate the LORD would cringe toward Him, and their fate would last forever. |
| 17 | וַיַּאֲכִילֵהוּ מֵחֵלֶב חִטָּה וּמִצּוּר דְּבַשׁ אַשְׂבִּיעֶךָ | Va-ya-akh-il-hú me-khé-lev khit-táh; u-mi-tzur d-vash as-bi-e-khá.’ | But He would feed you with the finest of the wheat, and with honey from the rock I would satisfy you.’ |
